OP I support u here. I am a Christian but was once over religious and too spiritual. This affected my thoughts and actions up to the extent that I see things in the spiritual sense, instead of thinking otherwise. I changed my mindset concerning my over spirituality and it has helped me a lot. I now think outside the box before even thinking spiritual. 3 days ago we were hearing some sounds on our ceiling (rat sounds and movement). In my mind, I was setting plans on how to spray rat poison on that ceiling so as to kill the rats and prevent further disturbances but my elder sis on the other hand was like... Whitch rat..fire fire fire...back to sender, and I told her right and then that she is becoming too over religious o....

I stopped because your probably well thought out write-up collapses on itself.

Your title suggests that you set out to enlighten us on why you believe RELIGION impedes creativity and intuitive thinking but your very first point is based on predestination. This point would have been valid if every Religion believes in it but that's not the case.

Not all religion teach predestination, or believe in it. If at least one religion is an exception on the teaching of predestination, then the point is invalid. If your number one point is wrong, why then should I go through the trouble of reading the whole thing?
