How is the government supposed to handle this? BBOG sits out every day in Abuja. They cannot just barge into Aso Rock any time they feel like. If that was the way every aggrieved sect was allowed into Aso Rock, things will not be okay. They are however very respected and encouraged. Nobody is teargassing them or scattering their assembly or throwing chairs at them like in the previous administration. There is free press and free speech. Dr Oby was interviewed on ChannelsTV as well. Also, they have had their audience with the president himself a couple of times. Everyone has a schedule and a job to do i suppose. There is time for everything, including meeting with BBOG IMHO.

Yes the government is for the people but the PRESIDENT cannot see everybody anytime they feel like it. There is always government representative to receive such complaints and requests and attend to them. The BBOG group insists on seeing the President only. If you will recall, the other time that the Minister of Women affairs and others came to see them instead of the President, the group did not agree. They had a standoff until Buhari had to come. The BBOG group should let the government do their job. The government is doing a lot to find the girls and ensue peace in the North East. If there was neglect like before, that is understandable.

The BBOG group meets EVERY DAY so it is not surprising if they have been denied entry to see the President many times. The government/military is working on their demands, they cannot be barging into the villa anytime they feel like. Nobody is stopping them from their sit outs or rejecting their messages. They are getting a lot of coverage and attention, not neglect and resistance like was seen in the previous time. People are ALWAYS sent to them to receive their message, it does not have to be PMB. The other time they sent Al-Hassan, Mungono and co, the group insisted that they do not want to see them except Mr President. And the man even came, what else? They are looking for the girls, abi na so e easy to find missing person? The previous administration teargassed them and threw chairs and objects at them so they don't even compare. They are allowed to make their protests and give their messages and go. Even me in my house, if i do not want to see a visitor, i don't. Government reps collect the message of protesters, it is not compulsory that it is the President that must always attend to them like he is jobless. If he finds time once in a while, fine. There is no cruelty in that.
