what does it work for? Jazaakallahu khayr

It makes your beard shiny and neat, other brothers say it makes their beards soft but I personally have a stubborn kind of hair all over my body, it is a "takoko-ing" things grin I.e tangling kind of hair which makes curly pattern that can't be scattered, so in my case it doesn't make my beard soft.

Then you have to be taking comb about like me grin and do not keep touching the beards cuz it will get rough and stay that way which is why you need comb with you.

Lol, I'm not good at "retelling" jokes, except mine, if you read them from the hadiths yourself, it probably would've cracked you up.

Oh yes. The discussion we had then really strengthened my resolve. And alhamdulillah, the situation has gotten quite better with the family smiley. The acceptance and tolerance from them seems to be growing as each day passes.
Liking the beard now. Some of your tips on maintaining it were helpful. Ori works wonders for me grin
Salaam alaykm brother, pls I will like you to share those tips for maintaining beards with me too.
Jazzak'Allah khayran
Re: How Prophet Muhammad Applied Jokes by AideeSheks(m): 10:38am On Oct 08, 2016
Wa alaykum salam warahmatullah

Still majorly most of what has already mentioned. Ensure to comb it regularly, apply ori (or some other type of oil you feel can work) regularly to help keep the beard lustrous and moisturized. Try to avoid regularly touching or stroking the beards because it can roughen and can pull of some strands if care is not taken(This at times is hard for me too because I unconsciously can't control myself especially deep in thought grin )

Last and what I consider most important, wear you beards with pride and confidence. Some people might insult you or you might get the occasional whispers from shaytan, but this should never dissuade you. Even if the whole world is against it, brother stand by the deen. May Allah reward us for the little strives we're putting towards practicing this deen of ours.
