Good observation... but if you look at the guys bowing, they are wearing "honorable" branded tee shirts (trophy) s he's probably making an endorsement of the drink. He wasn't drinking it.

Unfortunately we mostly speak before we think and by so doing we comment blindly on things which we have no understanding of.
In the picture, the Alaafin ( who represents a revered institution amongst the Yoruba's) was holding the bottle of beer to endorse it. He was NOT drinking from it. The Alaafin (in fact the institution of kingship which encompasses every king in Yorubaland) does not drink or eat outside. It is not regal. I do hope that you are better informed now.

Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III (born 15 October 1938) is the Alaafin, or traditional ruler, of the Yoruba state of Oyo and righful heir to the throne of its historic empire. Lamidi's father, the Alaafin of Oyo Oba Adeyemi II Adeniran, was deposed and exiled in 1954 for sympathizing with the National Council of Nigerian Citizens (NCNC). He had come into conflict with Bode Thomas, deputy leader of the Action Group.

Lamidi Adeyemi succeeded Alaafin Gbadegesin Ladigbolu II in 1970, during the governorship of Colonel Robert Adeyinka Adebayo, after the end of the Nigerian Civil War. In 1975 the head of state General Murtala Ramat Mohammed included Oba Adeyemi in his entourage to the hajj. He was chancellor of Uthman dan Fodiyo University in Sokoto from 1980 to 1992. In 1990 President Ibrahim Babangida appointed him Amir-ul-Hajj in recognition of his commitment to the consolidation of Islam in Nigeria.

There is no problem in being dumb,but don't try to sound reasonable while at it.

Yorubas are taught to respect their peers,elders,monarchs,and The Almighty.
The importance of the bodily postures assumed in the process is known only to an Omoluabi.
That you belong to a culture whose people woun't bow to God is your problem not ours.

Variation is the reason why the Alaafin is fair in complexion;not everyone suffers from the type of low self-esteem that makes you find succour in a case of bleaching cream.
