Jamb cuts different marks for different courses and different tribes and indigens as a result of what educational experts term educational disadvantaged ares.
does this represent oneness and one nigeria? should this law be revoked and still be allowed to prevail?

Quota system is meant to bridge the gap that exist among the different components that make up Nigeria. The ultimate goal is to build a country of "oneness and one Nigeria". The implementation may not be perfect but the policy is legitimate.

How does quota help bridge the intellectual gap?, Admitting dumb unworthy students on the basis that they're not well educated in his home state won't make him any smarter. This policy is dumb and ridiculous. A quota system is only needed when there is evidence of discrimination and I doubt that universities discriminate against people from low literacy areas. They should set up programs to encourage these folks to go to school and not relax the rules for them, it does not make sense to me atleast.

is it assumed that these "educationally disadvantaged" students will suddenly become intelligent in university?

if we say we have one nigeria, why then are the laws controlling the school entrancies different? why are the laws controling the sales and distribution of petrol differs with regions?
intelligence and interests to me are gifts from God and using certain laws to balance the entrance rates is another way of re-visiting the sharing of gifts of God in our lives.
it is my suggestion here that the laws should be one no matter who is involved but if the quota system must be in place let it be in all ramifications because it is quit obvious here that the educational advantaged regions are disadvantaged in someother aspects so let the redistributions be all round or let there be none.
