How To Make Cheaper Call With MTN Network 2 Tariff – Sixkobo by Sixkobo(f): 4:34pm On Sep 14, 2016
Today I will be writing extensively on how to make cheaper calls with Mtn network by combining 2 tariff – Better talk and new Ipulse tariff plans.

NOTE: This is not a cheat or trick it but a good research, I have been enjoying this since April 2016 Just sit back and relax while I take you on this simple tutorial.

To start, I will do a little introduction on the tariffs.

MTN BETTERTALK is a prepaid tariff plan that reward user with 3X the value of airtime recharge, that is when you recharge N100 you get a Bonus of N200 in your bonus account and a N100 in your main account , bonus can be use for call and data. You can check MTN Bettertalk Tariff for more.

MTN Ipulse on the other hand is a tariff plan that charge it’s customer a flat rate 0.11k/secs on all calls (National – Glo, Airtel, Etisalat etc) after a daily usage of N10 or 25secs of call @ 40k/sec.

I know the above is not much relevant to you, i just wanted to give a background introduction on the two tariffs we will be using to make cheap calls on the Mtn Network, So let’s get to business but keep your calculator close let’s roll.

Firstly, you have to migrate to MTN BETTERTALK by dialing *123*2*6# before recharging your airtime in order to get your 200% Bonus.
Secondly, after recharging, Bettertalk tariff charge 0.40k flat rate on all National calls.
In this tutorial we will be using N100 recharge ( check after post to get the value for N200-500 airtime) you will be giving a N200 Bonus.
Also know that the N200 Bonus on calls will give you 500 seconds which is 8Mins 20Secs (200/0.4 = 500/60) use calculator to know
After exhausting the bonus on call you will be left with your main balance of N100, now switch to MTN Ipulse tariff by dialing *406*1# for free
I want you to know that migration is FREE as MTN has stop tariff plan migration charge of 100, migrate now to and from any tariff to confirm.
After you migrate to Ipulse use the N100 to make calls at 0.11k/secs and 100 will give you 13mins 38Secs after N10 usage (90/0.11 = 818.18/60 ).
From our calculation we have use MTN N100 airtime to make cheaper calls of 21Mins 58Secs.

Note: Also know that you can use Bonus (Bettertalk) for 7days and migrate to Ipulse and use till you exhaust your airtime.

N100 = 21mins +
N200 = 43mins +
N300 = 64mins +
N400 = 86mins +
N500 = 107 mins + almost 2hours call

@Op does this mean we have to keep switching tariff to make cheap calls?
