@Ajiboyet,
My brother, all sorts have been said about Jesus Christ but His glory is for ever. We've heard all about Jesus and december 25th celebration. But no big deal. Regardless of when he was born, the important thing is our celebration of the meaning of his birth; because it was through his birth, or incarnation of God in flesh, that true Salvation and Peace came unto mankind. He is "Emmanuel", the God who choose to dwell with us. Jesus Christ is the Reason for the Season. Just like somebody said in a similar post to this, he said: "It does not matter whether Jesus was born December, January or Sartuday, if we ordinary human beings can celebrate our birthdays, why should'nt the whole world consciously celebrate the living God himself". I totally agree with him.
So, I wish you and your entire family a very Merry Christmas. May the peace of God dwell abundantly in your household, Amen.

The actual date Jesus was born is of little importance to me. Such propositions are engineered to draw our attentions away from the true meaning of Christmas - The birth of The Saviour of the world.

Hey guys, this isn't a dissing thread. I asked about your opinions, and you're using vulgar words. In a blog about Christmas and Jesus. Now, I won't have that.

Of course, Jesus wasn't born on December 25.  Even my unborn baby (that'll be coming into this world in a couple of years) knows that! wink

Jesus Was Born In The Summer

Sadly, most modern day Christians think that Jesus was born on December 25, a date established by Pope Clement VII (1478-1534 A.D.), a Roman Emperor. He became Pope in November of 1523-1534. With that, it became believable that Jesus was born on December 25, a winter month. But the mere fact that the shepherds were outdoors in the fields tending their flocks, which they only did in the summer months, Jesus son of Mary was in fact, based on the scriptures of Luke 2:8 born in the summer. In Jerusalem during the month of December, it is very cold, and there is no way this child could be born in the cold.

During the high point of the summer solstice between June 23 through the highest point being June 26, when the sheep would be brazing in the field, is when Jesus son of Mary was born.

Luke 2:8 “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.”
Luke 2:12 “And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:15 “And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.”
So, this quote refers to Jesus as a babe and the Greek word being used here in the Bible is brephos for newborn or infant. So, as you just read, this proves that the baby Jesus was born during the summer, in the year 7 A.D. based on the death of Herod.
