IPOB: Sit-at-home Protest, A Wrong Move? by HisSexcellency(m): 11:57pm On Sep 23, 2016
The IPOB announced a sit-at-home protest in the entire south-east and south-south today (23/09/2016). A directive from what i gathered had about 75% compliance in the zone as most schools, markets, offices and banks where closed.

My thought when i heard about the planned protest was that this people are taking this whole struggle to the next level aside just some youths running around the streets with placads and obstructing traffic.
The UN general assemly is currently ongoing in New York with world leaders all in attendance including our own president, if truely IPOB wanted to get the attention they seek why not mobilize your members from all quarters to stage a peaceful protest at the UN headquaters where it matters.

What will it take or cost them to mobilise at least 600 people to stand before the UN headquaters with the said placads and let everybody passingby or driving through take note of their demands and then asking the relevant questions.
All i see is misplaced priorities, are there no igbos or lovers of biafra in US?
The court ruling on Nnandi Kanu's case is this month, what awareness are they raising to get people into the know of court proceedings and the journey thus far.

One thing is to speak, another is to whom are you speaking to, and most importantly did they get your message?

I rest my case cry
