I was in a discourse on a whatsapp group on the possibility of a Christian, I mean a true believer to be possessed or oppressed by the devil. I've seen situations where believers manifest demonic possession during hot prayer sessions and this seems to be confusing. What do you think? Pls back up you statements with explanation.

Not possible sir, a true child of God can never possessed,His body is the temple of the Holy Spirit,...it can't habor any other spirit,but it can be occupied with evil thoughts or rather he can be inflicted by evil spirits if he is caught un guarded just like the case of Simon Peter in Mathew 15, where he tried to rebuke Jesus in to dying on the cross, that was an attempt by the evil one to us him against his master,been demon possessed is another thing entirely o, it means legions of demons are living inside of you, your heart is now a conducive mansion for them!,that's an evil state.
