Designated Survivor is an American political drama television series created by David Guggenheim, and starring Kiefer Sutherland a.k.a Jack Bauer airing on ABC . The project skipped the pilot stage and was ordered straight to series on December 14, 2015, followed by a formal announcement and teaser trailer on May 6, 2016. The general's plan would almost succeed but I'm sure Jack will get them, they feel he's inexperienced and not fit to run the country, it's gonna be difficult for him but he's gonna turn everything around surprise those that did not believe him. Subsequent episodes has got many surprises for us. That's how they normally release episodes, every week, second release has been stipulated for Sept 28. I will upload downloads links as it unveils.

I think d series will be gud, av watch some part yet to complete d 1st episode.

designated survivor is looking like a 24 remake, kiefer cant do the running around to find terrorists or those against the us government since hez nw the president. i think nikita's maggie q will handle the running around just fine.

Can we kindly just refer to the President of the United States as his real name instead of Jack Bauer?

Yaay!! Keifer Sutherland is back. I hope this movie plays out like 24 or even better That was how i downloaded the movie "Touch" cos of Keifer Sutherland, vex wan kill me that day I hope this is good though..

LOL,you're definitely right,infact he was dared by a lot of personalities,the general disobeyed him,the governors and a lots.
Moreover,he often tremble when faced with questions,that's just not the Sutherland i know,well,he's definitely playing to the script.

Seriously,I downloaded the last episode(Is it 6 or 7) last week Wednesday and for 2days I don't feel like watching it at all.

Really loved the first episode. And things just went downhill from there.

I still believe in the show and yes it is real . Remember he is not an elected president Obama his .you dont just take orders from someone who never dreamt of becoming the president . Should an election be conducted between the president and the governor of Michigan ,the Michigan governor would win one million times .I guess you know why ?.

The movie is just right on point , if terrorist could take out white house ,using bomb engineered in the corridor of Washington then soft attack like what we have seen in the movie is very plausible .

As far as I am concerned the movie is following the trend it started with .

It's not really true.
The show writers are just trying to tell you how an ordinary person with no experience whatsoever has been thrust with the job of pushing the country forward. He is a designated Survivor, 18th or so in the line of succession, and owing to the fact that the immediate president didn't even trust in him (by removing him from his cabinet, although the letter was not given him yet)...
So you can then understand the reason why people actually are reluctant to believe in him or outrightly trust him. But as the POTUS, they respect him. In American movies, people sometimes mostly speak out of turn or talk to the president as they deem fit while baring their mind(case in point is HOUSE OF CARDS).

Please are there any series as interesting as Designated survivor? I'm awaiting episode 9 eagerly, but I need something like this...Thanks

The series is getting "Hot" LOL.
Definitely not the president, I think the shooter miss his target due to the shot by agent wells(don't know if i get the name right?
I also think they will see her as the one trying to assassinate the president.
Episode 11 will tell.
