Is so amazing that intellectuals in
nairaland are spectators
and reporters in nija politics.
This forum is so brilliant that we
most do something to work our word into
action. How can we make a change?

@Kabo In life all things are relative, so one mans Intellectual is anothers Jackass.
I dare you to contradict me when i say academic learning is not a good measure of intellect.
I see intellect, as the utilization of the ability of the brain, to effectively solve problems, and chart new courses of action for the betterment of self and others.

If an "Intellectual" cannot demonstrate results as defined above, then the title so bestowed was grossly misappropriated.
Intellectuals are the "planners and navigator of a countries future". Show me a striving country, and i'll show you a excellent Intellectual pool. grin

Intellectuals are the "planners and navigator of a countries future". Show me a striving country, and i'll show you a excellent Intellectual

This reasoning does not apply in Nigeria, our so called "intellectuals" are in cohort with thieves that have brought this country into ruin, you cannot put new wine in an old bottle, get rid of the old guards and see how the country might flourish
