I just can't understand. While we were kids under our parents, we knew how we managed to upset their rules despite strict monitoring. It's a wonder how a person as a parent could easily forget that. It's just to pray as a parent that anythinh close to such doesn't befall one because as a parent; you can never ever be too careful. I've learnt this firsthand; despite all careful planninh and organization, even a right move can turn out to be one's undoing.
Even with several people calmly trying to make him see reason, he still sticks to his guns about being omniscient in the topic of good parenting; he also believes so much in his monopoly of wisdom in parenting. There's really no point engaging further with such a character, it's a hopeless effort.

First of all, I see no reason why you have lost decorum and resorted to all sorts of insults and abusive words; I thought irrational outbursts like this were an exclusive reserve of the Nairaland POLITICS' section. But Going through your comments again, it is obvious that this is all you have upstairs and this is all you are made of; such a shame.

There's no point engaging further with an unstable, self-righteous bigot. I agree with you, you win!!! every parent that has suffered a tragedy is a bad parent that shouldn't have been allowed to be parents in the first place. All such parents should take lessons from TPAND.

I must apologize for losing my cool, but when you come out attacking my person, you leave me no choice. What some persons forget is, everyone claim bragging rights to their opinions. You should follow the trail of why I let loose and see it was called for that time

Apology accepted... Like you said, everyone has a right to their opinion on these things; I am a realist and not an idealist. I believe that no matter how careful and wonderful parents may be, children being children sometimes would still go beyond their assigned boundaries.

I was once a kid and a teenager, and no matter how strict and wonderful my parents were, I know I did overstep my assigned boundaries sometimes because it was impossible for my parents or teachers to have their eyes on my 100% of the time. I can only thank God that I suffered no major misfortune through those years but even if such ever happened, I believe it would be totally out of place for anyone to blame my parents for that.

The point i have simply tried to pass on to you is that it is totally wrong of you to judge the parents of these 2 boys who lost their lives because you do not even know the parent. and you don't know the full story.

I agree with you. I read the tone of my comments and I must say I was a little judgmental. I don't even know the parents neither the kids

Careless persons will feel hurt by my comment, I know that feeling. Truth hurts, deal with it
You are clearly the one who felt a grievance over the "parenting style" of the parents of these kids. You and who is hurting? U made an insensitive comment and I chose (as I care to), to respond to it. You deal with that dogg.

You are a heartless and terrible person. I can say objectively that YOU have NO soul.
Vivy sweery, of course the comment is from a cold heart: no feelings nor empathy. But we won't say he is soulless ' cause the soul is an essence of God which every human carries. There is a difference between body, spirit and soul. If it is possible for the moniker to fall in love, cry, or feel pained by your comment then he has a soul. I know you may know.
Hope you are good?

Why bother?,

I can bet my next meal the guy's not a parent.

Just the usual all talk without experience on NL.

Everyone can drive a car with their mouth na.
