Dude Celtel made there GPRS service free that's why it is free. MTN and other Mobile service providers charges per packet. Besides that you have to consider somethings, like the free Night calls you get from MTN, and the Family and friend calls you get from MTN these are substitute for GPRS. And remember system of selling goods has to be diffferent. And inthis case what happens is that anybody dieing to make free calls and cheap calls will go for MTN and if you are desperate to chat, access mails, post blogs for free you will go for the providers with such service. Though Nigerians are doing what they call seem swapping every 6hrs or more. When its 0030hrs the switch to MTN and once it is 0600hrs they are back with Vmobile. I heard people talking about it. |
