Laurentia Mallam, the Minister of Environment
for former President Goodluck Jonathan, and her husband have been abducted by armed
kidnappers in Kaduna State. A competent source close to the former president
confirmed to SaharaReporters in Abuja that the
former minister and her husband were abducted
while on their way to Kaduna, around Jere-
Bwari axis, between Kaduna and Federal Capital
Territory. According to the source, the kidnappers have
contacted the family for a ransom or else they
will inflict harm on them.
