2timothy 3:1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
We are in the end of the world and what The prophets and Jesus Himself has foretold through his disciples have started happening. Many have started drifting away from the truth which they once received. How shall it be for such souls that once know the truth but are now the enemies of the truth just because they want to pleased the world. The world and the lust in it would soon vanish away but the word and the promises of God must be fulfilled. the reward awaiting the persistent ones in the faith will last forever but the reward of this earth would soon go away. why don't you fight for a reward which can never be destroyed by the destroyer. It's a dangerous thing to depart from the truth which you have already accepted i. e the gospel of truth centered in Jesus. By desisting from the truth it means you don't care about what God can do. Be steadfast in the truth for you shall surely receive the rewards of your labour one day.

The truth is the acceptance of jesus as your lord and saviour. phill 2:9. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father and living up to the standard of God's will for your life. i. unveiling the fruit of the spirit in your life Gal 2:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. And also serving God in truth and in spirit for He demand such from you. Giving Him praises all the time. And then departing from what could make vex at you. Gal. 5:19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Live by these and it shall be well.
