If you browse with your phone, try wap.GetJar.com. There is a site where u can download radio there. But I doubt if you will hear any sound cos your fone does not have mp3.

Why are we deceiving ourselves.
There is no software for listen to your local radio station unless you have phone with fm(k700i,k750,n3230,n70 etc) because it is hardware component.
Radio bee,virtual radio,virgin radio etc all this are internet radio and you can not find your local station for now.

You can trully get an Online radios for phones. But that is if you are using a 3G service, because that is when Multimedia services will work well. GPRS can not give you a better access to the service. Streaming will be very smooth on 3G. You still have to be patient and one more thing you will have to pay in any site where by you intend to download the radio.

As for now i know of radios for all the 3G phones by Sony Ericsson, but I don't know about other all other 3G enabled phones will support the service but if you do not Search you can't find.

For those who shun the guy. You will know better about the services of 3G when it starts working in Nigeria.  I am compiling some informations which can help us better on 3G. Hopefully I will release them out I confirm that there is no false in my message.

If our services provider did not put any restrictions to the 3G services, TV's will be watched on some enabled phones. VoIp calls and lots of other funcstion will work via our phones.

Most phones are upgradable but few know about this. All this services help to boost the use of the phone. But most people who uses phones in Nigeria knows nothing other than phone calls.

If we can all explore the net, we can find applications which will be useful to the masses. From there people might even rise and start program some softwares which will work well.

My advice is we should quit discouraging anyone that raises an idea.

1 of the Key reasons is that the memory is just too small. And it is of the early productions on Second Generation. Although there are some Second generation Phones that can Run series of applications.

About a me Choosing a Phone for you. I will give you some options then you can choose.

You said a phone with Bluetooth. Using phone is not all about sharing and low range connectivity.

Though my phone is not any better than your Sagem. Sometimes if you know the right things to do you will enjoy what you have.

Nokia 6230i is a goood choice but I don't know the price but it should be in the twenties because it was released before SE K750i and according to SHOP FOR LESS.COM a packed SE K750i is N32,000

You can ask from people who knows better. They should be able to help. People talk alot about computer village you can try there to find out for yourself but you gotta be careful, get someone who knows how to buy things in that area. They say they cheat.

I myself I am planning on getting either K610, 6680 or 6630, because their features are very close and they will meet up with my present need.  I need to know their prices. But some shmucks are mailing me that they sell phones.

my gawd! that nazzyon sef is a dreamer. 3G will solve all the world's problems, blah blah-dude, WAKE UP! you can barely make good use of gprs as it is now because our telcos insist on basing their business models on meter charge, EVERY*DARN*KILOBYTE!! wot makes you think they'd do any different with 3G? maybe if they were to introduce flatrate billing, or even free access. besides, 3G is a dismal failure, its not bringing money for the big players, the little players here cant make a cashcow outta gprs despite the huge investment=TRANSLATion: i dont see any naija telco bringing in 3G UNLESS someone figured out how to make money out of it. maybe you have some ideas.maybe not. besides, 3G is sooo outdated, the world is going 3.5G now with High Speed Circuit switched Data and so on. and this is coming at a time when nextgen phones (and some new ones) have the necessary bandwidth capacity, and 1ghz cpus.
it also amuses me when i see people dreamily talking of VOip in mobile phones, cos it beggars the question 'um, why use a MOBILE PHONE to make Internet PHONE CALLS'? reminds me of folks who waste their time buying ticket after endless ticket in cafes scouring the net for where to send free sms via internet. by the time they finally nail ONE site where you can send only like 5, they'd spent enough money to buy 3 mtn 1500 naira credits. which is close to 300 mtn to mtn sms
