Why Is God's Plan Never Ever Fulfilled? by simplex2: 2:58pm On Oct 07, 2016
He planned good life for Adam and Eve after taking 6 days to make a perfect creation of the earth, a snake took 6 minutes and thwarted everything.

He planned a peaceful heaven with order and authority, he lost 33% of his angels in a failed coup with the architect of the coup still working around free.

He planned a perfect word other from a perfect Noah family but the Noah family ganged up against him and he ended up scattering them with his anger and violence.

He planned to give canaan land to Israel but the Iraq/Iran/Saudi are still major occupant of the land flowing with milk and honey and Israel has not gotten a hold on its capital city-jerusalem from muslims till today.

He planned everlasting life for those who believed in his son, the believers are still dieing together with we unbelievers.

Now he has promised heaven to those who will tarry and wait for his son's return, are we even sure something isn't going to prevent the plan as usual? Maybe a failed engine in the super-sonic time-travel machine that was designed to rapture the saints, maybe a clog in the trumpet that the angel is supposed to blow, maybe a virus corrupting the files holding the names in the book of life...

Why are all his promises being thwarted? Are there powers more supreme than God? Are there laws and rules he MUST obey? Is his omnipotent-omniscient-omnipresent status a hyperbole or are all these made up stories that don't stand logic?

Maybe...are we even sure another angel hasn't done a 2nd coup and this time around, became successful? I mean, some dude tried it and had one-third followership despite its failure. Who knows...

Another fallacy.
Pls we have compared several times, here on Nairaland and we found that atheists have contributed little or nothing to scientific discoveries compared with those who believe in God.

So stop lying. shocked

Why is God's plan never fulfilled? Because some of the things you call plans are actually purposes for creature well-being which they were to indicate a willingness to receive by a cooperation of faith or reject. However, God's plans such as you find in the bruising of the serpent, deliverance of Isreal from Egyptian and Babylonian bondage, Coming of Christ, Resurrection of Christ etc were fulfilled.

For the Lord of hosts has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched-out hand, who can turn it back?” Isaiah 14:27

OP, the fact that God's plan has not YET been fulfilled in your life doesn't mean it will never be fulfilled.

Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure God's purpose will stand and He will do all that He pleases.

Isaiah 46:11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

OP, God is looking for, calling you and I to fulfill His purpose. And if you and I refuse, there will definitely be someone else to. This reminds me of when Elijah thought he was the only prophet left and God proved him wrong.

OP, it's the patience of God, His love and mercy, His faithfulness that makes you think He doesn't fulfill His promise.

I wonder what will happen to me if God goes ahead to fulfill His promise without me fulfilling His purpose for my life first.

Think OP think! We're first and foremost God's priority. I can't explain further than this and I don't think I can say anything more than this.
