The captain of the Under-20 national team, the Black Satellites, Andre Dede Ayew has denied speaking to Nigerian spiritual leader, Prophet T.B Joshua moments before the Satellites engaged the Brazilians in the penalty shootout of the just ended under-20 world cup final in Egypt.

The head coach of the Satellites, Sellas Tetteh confirmed to Citi News that he spoke to the Nigerian prophet before and during the final match against Brazil in the final in which the satellites emerged victors.

Prophet T.B Joshua, the leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Nigeria, who is also a very close friend to President John Atta Mills, was captured in a video footage on youtube.com (link) discussing the game with Tetteh.

The spiritual leader told Sellas Tetteh about Daniel Addo’s first half red card before the match and also mentioned that the game would be decided through penalty shootout.

“…the game, as I’ve seen it, first half-no goal, second half-no goal. You’ll do everything and your people will everything, no way. Yes, I see that penalty will determine, and that penalty will determine the winner…,” he predicted.

Captain Andre Dede Ayew was also directed to effect the first spot kick because he had a lucky charm to the team’s success according to Pastor Joshua.

“The whole thing will be determined by penalty, and in the penalty too you need God’s favour and God’s mercy. The number 10 should be the one to first play for Ghana. If this number 10 plays for us, we are assured of winning. We will have the world cup in Jesus name.” Prophet TB Joshua forecasted.

Dede Ayew, in an interview with Citi Sports reporter Nana Boakye Yiadom however denied speking to T.B Joshua during the penalty shootout although in the Video footage the Prophet was seen issuing instructions to somebody he said was Andre Dede Ayew.

"I don't know who is TB Joshua, I just heard he is someone who was praying for us but all of us know it wasn't only pastors praying, everybody in Ghana was praying. Both Muslims and Christians prayed for us and we are grateful to all of them." He said.

On his part however, Sellas, confirmed to Citi News that he took inspiration from the Prophet T.B Joshua in winning the trophy.

“I knew several spiritual men prayed for the team but Prophet Joshua was with us on the job. He was speaking to us right on the job so we believe that he was also an inspirational factor in our winning.” He said.

Prophet TB Joshua is believed to have predicted the occurrence of some major events correctly including President Mills’ victory in the 2008 general elections and the death of pop star Michael Jackson.

Whats going on?  well, i believe TB Joshua spoke with the coach alright but did he ever speak with Dede Ayew before he took his penalty as we were made to believe in the the video; min 8:25 - 8:55 [ http://www.youtube.com/user/linesjames#p/a/u/1/bZWVLiKWpz4  ]   It looks like Ayew is saying otherwise. . . . or is it cos Ayew is a moslem he doesn't wanna give credit to the prophet?

Are you serious? That was culled from a Ghanaian website so has 9ja peeps got to do with this? @ diasporan The Ghana coach has confirmed that indeed he spoke to the Pastor but the No10 has denied ever speaking to him though the video depicts that he spoke to someone on the phone purporting to be the Ghana captain (No.10 - Ayew). Thus, where from this "Bad belle" stuff? Huh?

I think the person who is either trying to promote or ridicule Joshua here all the time is very stupid. So is the person who throws it to the front page all the time. I think this tb joshua thing should be left in the very section where it was posted

He has been in Nigeria and steadily things have got a whole lot worse. Fuel price has tripled, the Naira has fallen in value, there's unrest in the Niger Delta, there's killings of innocents in Eket - so what has his presence done for us since?

This is a latest boost to get new members in his church. You're welcome to worship there and show the man slavish devotion if you will. But don't come here excoriating the rest of us for not sharing your beliefs!

I really wish people will get things straight into in there head.

1. that a someone somewhere predicted happenings correctly does not validate if he or she is a prophet of God or not. Babalawos make predictions and it happens as it is said.

2. that a prophecy or prediction (as you might want to call it) does not come to pass, does not make the person who    made the prophecy fake.

3. As for generosity, you can judge for yourself. The DEVIL IS EQUALLY A GIVER, lol(sounds stupid but its the truth)

Our generation look for signs to confirm what they want to believe and the devil does not waste time in giving them one.
