and I say she is not wrong. She must have adviced him before going public.

I agree that Buhari has lost direction but a woman who embarrasses her husband in public is not a good wife, we did not elect her. Her 1st loyalty is too her husband. She is suffering from the disease that affects a lot of women who taste power and many 1st ladies before her...delusions of grandeur and an elevated sense of self importance!

Buhari has not allowed her to become a power broker like Patience and rightly so!!! We voted for her husband not her!!!!

However Buhari's response is unbefitting of a president but I stress again she is right that his govt has lost the plot.

He handled it very well publicly....and would do the same. Note... the global media had nothing to shout about. The response showed that... the wife is not running things in the background like soooo many heads of states.... that his wife is as free to express her political opinions... verbally or at the ballot box .... that sound minds would realize that his way is the better way. Buhari has moved up the ladder thanks to the comment from his wife...and more importantly..his response.

am not answering this dumb question.
But we have to understand that Aisha Buhari placed herself in the kitchen cabinet right from day one,..
imagine has a President wife, how many enlightenment and empowerment has she engaged in.
All she does is to flaunt the luxurious bags and watches. As a president wife it cost her nothing to enlighten people about cancer,it cost her nothing to share free text books,it cost her nothing to empower widows but no she decided to just be in the kitchen and enjoy the wealth of presidency while it last.

I don't support PMB or Aisha Buhari but we should always tell ourselves the truth

alot of us has began to see her from a different angle, her personality sky rocketed and she has been vindicated just for granting this interview. Aisha is a mother. And she has spoken the mind of ordinary Nigerians. Our respect for her has doubled since her interview.

On a day when your husband should be basking in the glory of the release of 21 school girls, a useless stupid wife has instead brought international embarrassment to her husband. What a shame!!

Reading some comments here I can see that Nigeria is in trouble 90% of the comment I read here show that Nigerians are not only ignorant, they can't even think well imagine such an intelligent question. And just look at the foolish comments some people are making here.If that is how you are thinking I feel sorry for you.The comment that I have found here very good that were written by people who can think very well that are worth taken seriously, are to even up to 5. SMH our school system have failed the graduates are not different from the illiterate in thought and actions tragic.

I have no respect for a woman who embarrasses her husband in public. I don't care if she is right or wrong. Any fool can see that Buhari's govt has lost focus, she isn't saying anything new. If we voted for her I can understand, we didn't vote for her, her constituency is her husband!!!

Everyone will not be st2pid. This is the best first lady in the history of Nigeria unlike those that rocked and sank the boat of our common wealth. Buhari can do nothing to that kind of woman (brain, much younger and beautiful). Buhari needs her more than she needs Buhari.

I will buy her the latest range rover.

Who else is supposed to talk sense into Buhari's brain if not his wife? Probably she's been talking to her husband privately about the state of the economy and as stubborn as he is he refused to listen hence her outburst.

I expect his daughters to follow their mother's footsteps and blast their dad too.

God bless Nigeria.
And you think her public outburst will make him change? if anything, it will make him want to show that he cannot be controlled by his wife like GEJ was thereby make him go against what she wants.... if he goes her way, we all know wailers will begin to call him a weak man controlled by a woman.... excuse him if he doesn't fall in her line.... as I recall, she really pissed he appointed people he never used to fraternise with. we both know if he had appointed only his and her friends(which is what she wants) Nigerians especially the opposition would have nailed him to a cross...

If I was Buhari.

My response to Media: It's a domestic affair , will sort it out between ourselves.

What I would do:

Marry a second wife , as beautiful, more educated and more level headed. ( Pls. Note that polygamy is acceptable to both Buhari and his wife as Muslims who themselves come from polygamous families so no issue) . No divorce , no First Lady and no problem and will still have room for two more wives.

Let me tell you what I'll do. And I understand that it's already what Buhari and his kibsmen/cabal ate already doing.
Change her entire aides and assistants and replace them with people answerable to the presidency. They will be giving feedback on all her activities as well as prevent certain media appearances and interviews as well as report all forms of unauthorized visits.

"much as I don't like how she chose to communicate her discontent, I immensely appreciate her sincerity and genuine best interest of Nigerians at heart. However, if I appear not to have listened to her concerns earlier on, I have surely heard her loud and clear. And assuring Nigerians that am taking stock of every thing going on at the moment and I shall make the necessary moves as at and when due"

Then chip in a quote that says "keep your friends close and your enemies closer".

"the eagle first observes the landscape and its prey before it strikes not the other way around"

Lesson for ladies: don't marry or date a guy you are educationally superior to or else he will see you as part of his kitchen, rooms or other rooms like bathroom;whenever the lady has superior argument.
Re: If You Were President Buhari, How Would You Respond To Aisha? by davibid: 2:48pm On Oct 15, 2016
I see no justification for her action,

Marriage is sacred and both parties ought to cover for each other. Regardless of Buhari's ineptitude she has no right to embarrass him the way she did because no matter what he's still her husband and her duty is to respect him.

This action might cost her her marriage.

This one is about a president. If he doesn't want to talk, he will be asked questions he cannot avoid. Actually, I guess that was what happened to the president

What I know is that it is easy to criticize PMB if you are not a man and you are not a president and if it is not your wife who spoke out publicly against you.
High five bro.... these people want PMB to bow to his wife after her outburst on air and look like a weakling so that they can then finally crucify Him or say he is being controlled by his wife....

She will never be seen on tv again. Showing her overambitiousness alone is enough for me to see her as someone that can be used against me by opponents.

Why are we celebrating Aisha Buhari?

Did she speak on the plight of average Nigerian?
Did she speak about the economy in relation to her husband's performance?
Aisha Buhari just want to be like another Stella,Turai and PEJ.

Telling the world that Buhari is working with people who she doesnt know and are strangers to Buhari is a silly statement from her.

Is she suppose to be familiar with Buhari's cabinet? His just the wife of the president and nothing backs her position constitutionaly.

Buhari already said it in his campaign that his not working with the office of a first lady, coz he knows the effect of first ladies in previous regimes and how their position was misused.

Buhari also said it that his for everybody and for nobody, hence the strange faces coming into his cabinet. He picks those he feels his comfortable with and not based on party politics.

The only reason shes not going to support her husband as she said is because her husband aint carrying her along, shes not familiar with the faces around and not because of performance. That is a very lame reason we have to agree. What happens to the effect of her husbands policies on Nigerians?

To me ,i just feel Aisha is hurt her husband aint carrying her along with governance and not that shes concerned about the plight of an average Nigerian.

So why are we celebrating her?
