Many smartphones will lose their ability to use the popular cross-platform messaging application known as Whatsapp. The app which has become quite useful to Nigerians has decided to stop supporting some smartphones.
Here is a list of operating systems (OS), Whatsapp will stop supporting at the end of 2016:
– Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
– Blackberry OS 7 and earlier
– Blackberry 10
– Nokia S40
– Nokia Symbian S60
– Windows Phone 7.1
All Blackberry phones, WhatsApp support will end for all Nokia S40 Phones and other Nokia phones including:
