More often than not the task of spicing up ones wardrobe is usually considered an expensive expenditure. This idea intimidates most people and they just abandon the task. These are steps that will aid a spice up, with you spending next to nothing.

MIX ‘N’ MATCH

Learn to change how you mix your clothing piece. If you notice that there is a particular way you combine certain outfits, why not change that? Mix the black trouser with a pink top, the white blouse that usually goes with it with a red trouser and you will come out looking like you just shopped for new clothes. Better yet, you can even mix fabrics and prints. Dig up an old Ankara skirt and pair it with a plain top or match a Chord lace blouse with a plain skirt.

DIG UP OLD CLOTHES

Some outfits have probably been thrown to the bottom of the wardrobe because you feel like they are out dated. You are wrong; no fashion item goes out of style. Dig them up and rock them well, before you know it you, you will have started a new fashion trend.

ACCESSORIZE

Adding accessories to your outfit is a great way of spicing up. When you pair the most basic of outfits with nice accessories you create a very not-so-basic look. With dull colours you can use catchy accessories, with bright colours, a simple strand of necklace is what you need. You can add bracelets, hats, jackets for arm-less clothes or even a pair of glasses.

DON’T SHOP PER OUTFIT

For some people, it is common that when they shop they choose a complete outfit. The result is that when they pair any of the piece with other pieces of clothing they just look mismatched. Instead shopping this way, make sure you buy pieces of clothing that can go with as many pieces as possible.

HEEL IT UP

With a pair of heels you can transform an old look to a new one. What you are doing is transferring people’s attention from your clothes to your shoes. So strap on those sexy heels and come out looking sexy.

very useful information, especially for ladies.
i remember my younger sister once talked about her friend who doesn't repeat clothes in a whole semester.

unlike guys when the chips are down. because we must step out, we change the shirt while the trouser is constant 'K'. no leave, no transfer.
especially that one jean trouser... grin

it is well!
