hi,
what do you have in mind to import? like a contributor said earlier it's better to get trusted sourcing agents that can help you with your trading business ambition. you have a reasonable capital of 500,000naira. many of our clients even use 300,000 or 200,000 to buy goods like memory cards, fashion accesories, etc. we handled his inquiry and exported to them via UPS or TNT (we have the connection to export at a cheaper rate from these companies).

you can send us your business plan and what you intend to import from china. we can even arrange business invitation letter for u,if you insist on visiting China anytime. just send a message to any of these contacts below.

please contact us . chinabiz source and supply limited.

NOW READ THIS,

visit a website like http://mmgtrade.com or http://made-in-china.com and register. Then search for the product of your interest. But make sure the product will sell in Nigeria. Search through company profiles and contact the company that appeals to you. (you'll find their contact in the profile). Send the product hs code and then request a pro forma invoice from the company.

You'll also need to get a Form M from you bank. If the company's product appeal to you, then reply them with your desired quantity, mode of payment and info on how you want the product to be shipped to you. Make payment and insure the product with an insurance company.

The product will be sent to your designated port, then you clear and send to your warehouse.

But all this will be easier for you if you go through a trading company in Nigeria who are experienced in all this transactions. Visit http://quickbusinessconnect..com. It will save you a lot of things.

Hope it helps and goodluck

Re: Importing From China by AFROASIA(m): 3:53pm On Oct 08, 2010
Yeah, you can e.mail me your chat ID's . I will  reply you with mine and we can see how to move forward from there.
Like I said many times : Nigerian traders holding a total capital of less than 500,000 naira should not take the risk of ordering goods direct from some online unknown Chinese companies . It's much better for them to become a wholesaler or  reseller to another big time trader or partner with other trusted Nigerians in China with business link in 9JA.
" Big time businesses easily absorb the negative effects of high risks business deals, while small time businesses collaps easily on under high risk situation"

now the chinese currency appreciate from 6.8 to 6.63 now and it will continue to appreciated as the trend.
this has some impact on chinese export.as the cost of goods go up.
now it is good for foreign customers to fix order.when they delivery the goods the price has go up.
hope RMB currency can come back to the former level soon!

Can someone pls help out wt whr I can get banger2 buy wholesale
Re: Importing From China by smilypie: 1:29am On Oct 26, 2010
Why don't you use the internet. Find wholesalers from china and order your goods instead. I'm not based in Nigeria but I have ordered things from wholesalers that are in china before. Maybe before you get something in bulk just ask the seller to send you a sample first.
Re: Importing From China by marahcn2: 9:26pm On Oct 27, 2010
I am a Nigerian, and a long-time Asian resident who currently lives and works in China. If you find any Seller (Chinese company) online whose identity and authenticity you would like to verify, I will be more than willing to help you do that within a 24-hour period, provided you too are honest and sincere in your intention – no time wasting. First find a Seller you would like to purchase from, then I can help you check up the company’s registration information and place a call to the company to ask them relevant questions. I would also like to state clearly that helping you is absolutely free. Domestic calls here are very cheap, so there is nothing to charge for.
Good luck and God’s blessings.
