I told my elder sister to buy me DSTV, she came back with
a decoder- STRONG, MYTV was on it. It has two dish, besides
it doesnt have a card or a card slot.

Any advice on this? Is it a authentic? But i dont like it
it doesnt suit my taste

If yes, check the left side of front of that receiver  u we see were they write something like this SRT ----, pls tell us what u see there. moreover look @ rith side front of that receiver, were u are goin to find small shape try & draw it with ordinaray hand. MYTV. . . thats the newest cable satellite to come out of Nigeria. i doubt if it has many options like DSTV or interesting channels for that matter.  i bet its the cheapest of all the cable tv we have.
why on earth would your sister get you that inferior piece of crap pls dont accept it from her. even if she she couldnt buy the DSTV (which BTW is highly unlikely), she could have at least consulted you before buying any alternative.

i suggest you respectfully tell her to return it (she is big sis afterall) and get you your original choice.

@dominique, i find out that u are a schmuck, by sayin my post didn't make sense, moreover u lack of hometraining. i leaned that english is worry u. This poster were new to receivers & he wanted to comfirm something may be is okay be4 next action, which i simply ask the model no of this receive from the poster. Every satellite guru beleave that strong is the best among all receiver in naija market today with all of its multi function which DSTV or HITV we not get years tocome, now every strong sponsor by MYTV have card slot

Let me review 1 secret to u, DSTV receiver can't read another smartcard while strong we do dat convinently, ur sister that bought u 2 dish hav big plan, which i can review to u latter if u wish.
