The construction giant, Setraco discovers the Ifeobara Basin tunnel buried several decades ago. The excavation is underway for total replacement.

This will solve the persistent flooding that has ravaged Faulks Road for decades.
Dr Okezie Ikpeazu promised to complete the road before the next raining season....

Today, the indefatigable and promise-keeping Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu inspected the ongoing construction of Faulks road by Setraco.

During the inspection, the Governor was shown a stunning discovery made by Setraco - Setraco has discovered the Ifeobara Basin tunnel constructed decades ago and was the main channel through which water was channeled to Ife Obara.

It is worthy of note that the just discovered blocked tunnel had been the main reason why all attempts to fix the road by previous administration proved futile.

Governor Ikpeazu also promised that, God being his helper, the road will be completed before the next raining season.

Media Gov Okezie Ikpeazu, he will soon abandon this road project just the way he already abandoned the directionless drainage along Aba-Owerri road. Most parts where the drainage were completed has spoil within 1 year of the shoddy work. The drainage project was used to compensate his political associates who hire labourers to do lubbish work on their own assigned partition. The abandoned drainage has caused a lot hardship for shop owners and low patronage.
