The 35th anniversary of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) kicked off yesterday, 27th October, 2016 at Abuja, Nigeria. The event which was officially launched at Thought Pyramid Art Gallery, Wuse began with a Festival of life cocktails of poetry, music and a performance of Barclays Ayakoroma’s Dance on His Grave to welcome its members who have come from across the states of the Country. The National Chairman of the organisation and Host, Mr. Denja Abdullahi on receiving the delegates, appreciated everyone who has come for the event and explained why the organisation has remained an active platform for every Nigerian writer since its inception in 1981. Speaking further about the three day event, Mr. Abdullahi promised a memorable convention and implored everyone to be part of every programme as much as possible.
