Can anyone help me on how to set my blackbeery to be able to check my account balance. each time i try to check it, it behaves as if it is a call. I use an |MTN line.

i am having the same problems with my bb storm too but atimes when i restart the phone i will be able to check it 2 or 3 times afterwhich it seizes again,
Anyone with a solution to it?

Its kinda easy.If ur Blackberry Carrier is Verizon cos this problem happens to Verizon Bb's.All u need do is go to OPTIONS>MOBILE NETWORK>click on the menu button>DIAGNOSTICS TEST>Click on the menu button again and Click RUN.Ur BB runs the test and this fixes ur Bal.enquiry and recharging problems.I hope u find this useful

@DAMIBANTI THIS OPTION WORKS LIKE A CHARM WITH GLO AND MTN NETWORKS BUT 'NOT' WITH AIRTEL. I HAVE TRIED THE OPTION A DOZEN TIMES WITH AIRTEL AND THE PHONE STILL INITIATES A CALL RATHER THAN SENDING A MESSAGE. IT'S A TOUR (VERIZON) WHICH I HAVE USED WITH GLO SUCCESSFULLY I INTEND TO SWITCH TO AIRTEL BUT THE ACCOUNT BALANCE ISSUE'S GIVING SERIOUS CAUSE FOR CONCERN, PLEASE HOW DO I GO ABOUT IT? SPOKE TO AN ENGINEER TODAY WHO SAID HE CAN SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH A SOFTWARE, PLEASE I'D LIKE TO KNOW HOW TRUE THIS CLAIM IS, IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN AUTHENTICATE THE VERACITY OF THIS CLAIM KINDLY DO SO AND IF THE CLAIM IS TRUE, WHAT IS THE SOFTWARE CALLED?
