MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 1

Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story...

"Dindy Dindy wake up, go and bath, the time is 3.20am", said my elder sister tapping me on my medium size head.
I got up with a lazy eyes and walked from my room to the bath room.
Let me tell you what brought about the early morning movement. My name is Dindy, which you already know, I'm a nerd (kinda) and I like cartoons. --ok I think I'm going to deep in that part, let me go back a little.--
Days ago, I got a message from Zaria college, to come write an entrance examination, which I had been waiting for (for months ago). When I saw the message that day, I was happy because I was going to travel alone and experience the world more on my own.
The day I got the message was a monday and I was to be there on Tuesday of the following week, which was too soon.
I had to take an excuse from work and properly arrange all I needed to travel. I also used the few days I had to study really hard, using past questions and text books to refresh my memory.
My dad told me that, I would leave on Sunday morning to Abuja first, then I would goto zaria. It was going to be a very stressful thing, but I had no choice because I was going to give my uncle something, who lived in Maraba, Abuja.
At that time I was writing the story 'ANGELS", which most of you have read. I had little doubts within me, whether I would fit with the sort of people over there. I won't lie, I feared alot, each time I opened a book to read, I thought to myself "I have to really really read this, I have to pass this examination".
I never for once let the fear eat me up, to the extent that I won't read, instead I used the fear to read more and more.
Saturday came and I had to go to buy some stuffs I need for the examination (calculator, pen, pencil....) and also book a ticket. My elder sis (Chioma, who I love so much), was going to accompany me.
Later in the afternoon, we prepared and left for shopping in iyanaiba market. --Won't lie, that place is one hustling and bubbling place with cars, buses, and bikes everywhere.--
When we got there, we decided to first book a ticket for my trip to Abuja, so we entered another bus which took us to mile 2, where "THE YOUNG SHALL GROW" park was --I totally like them--.
After passing the rough and bad roads, we finally got to the place where the park was, it took I and my elder sis a little time, to find out where their main park was.
When we finally did, we were relied. I luckily got a spot in the first bus, which was leaving very early the next morning. We did all the things we ought to do and left the park.
We went to the market and got all I needed to travel the next day --That place is one busy land, with both human and spirit walking everywhere--.
Later that evening, my big naughty bro (Ugonna) and one of my Aunty (Chibuzor) came back from work.
After eating night food (dinner), my elder sis and Aunty (Chibuzor) came to our room to chill with us.
The main reason why they came to our room, was not only to chill with us, but also to ask I and my big bro to share our data with them --Free wifi things--. My big bro was using a BB Q10, so his sub was 1000 naira for 3GB (on Airtel).
He shared his data with them, but I didn't because my phone was a killer of data (Microsoft). They mocked me for it, but I didn't care.
We all stayed awake for hours until 12:00 am, then they slept off in our room. Somehow I didn't feel sleepy, I couldn't sleep and I had no idea what caused it.
I finally managed to sleep by 1:20am, having only few hours to sleep before my long trip to Abuja.....to be continue.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 2

Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story...

I quickly wash down, making sure that i washed away every lagos boy spirit out of my system. After I took my bath, i went to my room to gather my stuffs which I was going with.
My elder sister was ready and waiting for me to finish up. She had already taken her bath before me and was applying her make up (girl's style).
When I was done, i carried my luggage and we went to see my mum, to tell her that I was about to leave for the trip.
We met her in her room still sleeping, so we woke her up. She stood up with a sleepy eyes, but with all her brain function high and well. She held our hands and prayed for my sis and most especially me (Dindy).
We met our grandmother, who also prayed for me and blessed me with good words. My dad wasn't around that morning, he had traveled for his business and was to return in three days time.
My big brother (Ugonna) was busy teasing me alot, telling me things that I don't really care about. I knew he was going to miss me alot, but he was trying to hide it inside him. Little did he know that he was showing it off with the way he acted and behaved.
My Aunty woke up right when we were about to head out the front door, she called my name, slowing our movement.
She followed us out side the front door to the gate. She didn't miss any chance to tease me, with the help of my big bro.
We all walked until we got to the road side, where we would enter keke, which would take us to igando and from there we would enter another bus, which would take us to iyanaida.
At first, when we got to the road side, we didn't see anybody, not even a single being, so we stood and waited for a while because it was too early.
After minutes of waiting, we saw a keke driving close to us. We stopped him and i said my good byes to them.
Within 5mins, we got to igando, then we paid the keke man and went to where we would enter a bus to iyanaiba.
We entered a bus, which was not yet ready to move because it was not filled with passengers. We couldn't enter another bus because there wasn't another bus to enter.
--I don't blame the driver or conductor because it was very early in the morning and there was hardly any passenger, and that day was a sunday.--
After 30mins, the bus was filled with passengers, but our time had been brunt up by them. The driver drove fast, but not fast enough for me. To me, he was stepping on the brake pedal.
We finally got to iyanaiba, but the journey was not over. We quickly came down the bus and crossed to the other side of the road, where we would see a bus going to mile 2.
When we crossed to the other side, It didn't take us anytime to see a bus that was going to mile 2 --remember iyanaiba is always a busy place, they never sleep--.
The bus we entered, moved immediately we sat down, saving a little time for us to meet up with the time.
When we finally got to "THE YOUNG SHALL GROW" motor part, we quickly came down the bus and went to showcase my ticket. Unluckily for me, I came too late and my spot in the first bus was taken.
The second bus was were I got a spot to sit and it was at the window side --I totally love window sides--......... To be continue.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 3
Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story...
The time was 6:15 am and the first bus hasn't left yet, although it was filled with passengers. The second bus I sat in was almost full. The man selling tickets to those who did not buy ticket on time was in the third bus selling.
Few minutes later after the bus was filled, a man came to arrange our bags. He told us all to come down, so that he could fix the bags under the seats. We did as we were told, obeying his words like loyal servants.
He started arranging it one after the other, each time he carried a bag, he would always ask who owns it then ask for money. It got to a point when he held a heavy bag.
"Who get this big bag?", he asked as he wiped off the sweat, on his forehead with his left finger.
"Na me get am", said the Yoruba woman walking fast towards him.
"Madam you go bring 1000 naira for the bag o", he said to the woman throwing his face away.
"Ah!, e too much na", said the Yoruba woman unhappily.
"Too much ke, shey you no know say person no dey carry load when im wan travel. Abeg answer me I get other things wey I go do", he said as he squeezed his face.
"Oga wetin sef, I don pay for seat", said the Yoruba woman with a little bit anger.
"When you know say you go carry load, why you no go hire bus, abeg when you done ready come call me", he said as he left there and went to another place.
People around talked to the woman to beg him, they advised her to give him something, that he would accept even if it's 300 naira.
The woman accepted and she called the man back. He came frowning his face like some poo. She begged him, then gave him 300 naira which he collected and forcefully pushed it roughly into his fat pocket, which already had money inside --His two pockets were very fat--.
After he was done loading the bags underneath the seats and the boot, he told us to enter so that he could load the remaining bags and close the door.
We all started entering according to our numbers, I sat back on my seat and a beauty lady sat beside me --She was very beautiful, in-fact if she's not older Than me, I for reason am oo, I swear--. The Yoruba woman sat beside the beautiful lady.
I sat down happily talking to my elder sister, who was close to the window side where I sat. We talked about things a little and other stuffs too.
The time was now 7:30am and the first bus had left. Our driver came and was ready to move, then a man came close to the window side where the Yoruba woman sat, he prayed for us --Which is a normal thing they do, when people are about to move on their journey--. I told my sister good bye, as the engine kicked off for the adventurous journey, then we left.
The driver, didn't switch on the air condition immediately we left because he wasn't having enough fuel in his fuel-tank. He drove to an NNPC fuel station, which was far away from the park.
After buying the fuel and over filling his tank, he entered and we drove on. When we got to Ojota, the car started misbehaving, so he switched off the ac for a while.
He later turned it on again, 35 mins after he noticed that the car was back to normal. At that time, we were close to Ibadan and I was typing "Angels story" with my phone --I write stories, jokes and write ups anytime I'm free-.
The bus started running slow and couldn't run again when we got to Ibadan. Lucky for us, were had just passed "THE YOUNG SHALL GROW" Ibadan park. He turned back and went to park there, to find out what the problem of the bus was..... To be continue.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 4

Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story...

The car broke down due to an unknown fault, so we had to all come down and wait for the mechanic who was already on his way coming.
We came down, some sat out side the park's roof while others went under the park's roof. We sat there for more than two hours, waiting for the mechanic to come fix the car.
I sat under the park's roof and the beautiful lady that sat beside me in the bus, was sitting in my front reading bible --My people, she is so beautiful that the angels would fall from the heavens just because of her--.
After 2 hours of our time being wasted, the mechanic came. He came without his complete tools because he didn't have it in mind that he would encounter such mishap.
Luckily for us, an engineer --Not specialized in motor engines -- was amongst us. He brought out his tools for the mechanic to use. After 30mins the job was done and we were ready to continue the long trip to Abuja.
After we entered, our loads which were parked down, were parked back at the door side. The driver kicked off the engine and we continued our journey.
The driver switched on the ac and it blew strongly, cooling the bus. Few minutes later, the beautiful lady sitting beside me started feeling cold. Luckily for her I brought my cardigan
--I didn't need the cardigan because of the tough-cotton long-sleeve clothe I wore. I brought it along because i knew that someone sitting beside me would need it.--
I gave it to her and she thanked me, at first I thought she was the forming type, but little did I know that she was very friendly.
As the bus moved on, the beautiful lady beside me looked at me and asked me what i was typing --Yea I had been typing and reading the bible, for me to be able, to properly write the story "ANGELS"--.
I told her that I was writing a story and that I'm a writer, she then asked me, whether I was writing the incident that was going on.
I replied her 'No'.
I gave her my story "Nightmare" to read and after she read it, she was amazed by it, she loved it. And from there, one thing lead to another and another to exchange of phone numbers and names.
She said her Name was "Ugochi", when i was saving her number --I won't lie to you guys, I would have loved to date her, but she's older than me, so I got to respect her like my elder sister--.
After she read "Nightmare", I gave her my second story "Rape" to read, as she read it, she got sleepy and told me that she wanted to sleep, so she gave me back my phone and slept off.
An hour later, the bus started the problem again, then a man and the engineer said "it's the nozzle or it could be bad fuel".
It started moving at a slow speed, which got every one crying unhappily. The driver later concluded that, it was the fuel he bought from NNPC filling station, at the early stage of the journey.
He switched off the ac again, to see whether it would stop, but it didn't. He parked the bus and tried rectifying the problem.
He knew what to do because he saw the way the mechanic fixed it, he quickly told the front sitters to step down, so he could tap the nozzle to adjust it a little.
They came down and he did what he wanted to. When he was done, they entered back and our journey continued.
He then said "Please don't be offended, the ac won't be switched on for now because of the problem we are facing".
The Yoruba woman sitting beside Aunty Ugochi --I prefer and like calling her aunty Ugochi because she is older than me and also beautiful wink -- Said "Abeg no on am o, e better make we dey like this, at least breeze go dey blow us", she said...... To be continue.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 5
Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story...

We continued the journey trying to beat time, the driver never stopped for a moment, for anyone to urinate or eat because time was not on our side and the bus was always giving faults, so he had to try all he could to beat time before the bus completely broke down.
The driver reduced his speed, when we drove passed bad roads. After escaping bad roads, we got to a smooth-express, well fixed road.
He then changed to full speed of 200km/h, in fact we were flying. The bus was so fast, that it made the air which it pushed apart, flog you right on the face. Silly me, I opened the window more than norm and placed my left hand on the window.
My hand suffered the pain, the air flogged my hand heavily, I wasn't told twice. I moved my hand back in and closed the window halfway.
As the journey continued, I saw the eyes of a storm for the first time and it looked so lovely. I even tried explaining it to myself on how it could be found, but I couldn't, so i just steered at it with happiness.
20mins later, someone brought up a topic about pastor's and different opinions were shared. A man said, all pastors are the same.
When i heard what he said, I couldn't keep quite because I knew what he said was totally false.
I said "No not all pastors are the same".
Immediately after I said that, everyone looked at me including aunty Ugochi.
In my head, I was like "Jesus, why is everyone looking at me like this? Is my voice that lovely?".
Aunty Ugochi then said "Yes not all pastor's are the same".
Aunty Ugochi spoke to pull the attention away from me. After she spoke the argument ended.
Three hours later, the old lady said she wanted to drink five alive because she was very angry, I and aunty Ugochi laughed and laughed because five alive is an orange juice and drinking it would only increase the hunger in your belly.
We finally reach Lokoja by 8pm, which was not meant to be so, if the bus wasn't faulty. As we moved on, the bus did the same thing it did, when we started the journey.
Although the driver bought fresh new fuel, to wash away the bad one, the problem didn't stop. The problem of the bus was now ten times worst.
The speed at which we moved was as fast as a snail on a horse field. The driver had to stop for a while to relax the engine of the bus. We all came down and after 15mins, he told us to enter back so that we could continue our journey.
My heart began to beat fast as the bus fired speed highly, I was very much fear because it was my first time travelling alone, and all the stories I heard about people being robbed by armed robbers at night, contributed to my fear.
A small red car from behind overtook our bus, then slowed down. When I saw what was happening, my mind was shaking, everyone in the bus started talking and wondering, whether they were thieves or not.
The driver drove pass them again, but the red car overtook again. Being an experienced driver he said "They are not thieves, they are afraid like us".
Everyone became settled, then the Yourba woman asked aunty Ugochi whether she was afraid.
Aunty Ugochi replied "No I'm not".
In my head, I was like "If I hear say I no fear, make God punish me. God please save me this night o".
I looked outside the window, then started praying to God to protect me.
Finally by 12pm, we got to Abuja and everyone was singing happiness on their faces. When we got to mararaba that night, I slept in the "YOUNG SHALL GROW" park.
While I was there, fear was in my mind because I have heard so many things about north and the things that happened there, so many fearful thoughts filled my mind...... To be continue.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 6

Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story...

Morning came and I had to find my way out by myself to my uncle's house, which was not part of the plan at the beginning. My uncle's wife had sent me a text message with the address of the , that morning by 5am, to inform me that I would have to find my way by myself.
When I saw the message, I stood up from the place I sat quickly because I was going to travel to Zaria that very Monday morning. I then went to where I dropped my cardigan and luggage, to pick them up.
I wore my cardigan and picked up my luggage with my left hand, which was kinda heavy because of the stuffs in it.
I then picked up the big bottle of large wine which was given to me by my dad, to give my uncle. I held the large wine in my right hand.
I went straight outside, to ask a aboki that was right at the entrance of the park, where people entered to buy tickets.
The aboki was selling suya, but it was so less attractive to me. I walked up to him because he looks like someone that has being there for years and would know places around there.
When I asked him about the address of the place, he told me that he didn't know the place.
I then asked another lady, but it was still the same case. I then went out side the park and saw two bikers.
I decided to ask one of them. As I walked up to the biker, a man was calling me, saying "Bro come make we go lagos na".
In my mind, I was like "Place wey I just dey come from, you wan con want make I go back, shey you wan kill me?".
"Bro you no dey go again", he asked.
I just kept quite and went to meet the biker. I passed the first biker and went to the second biker.
When I asked him, he said he didn't know the place, then I showed him the address on my phone.
He said, "oh it's 'Ado'".
I said, "I guess so".
He then charged me "250 Naira" to take me there.
I said to him, "You will take me to 'Ado', close to Innovative school".
He then said, "You will pay '300 Naira'".
I wanted to be sure of the price he said, so I asked "300 Naira" for everything ba?".
He replied, "Yes".
Without wasting time, I gave him my small bag which had a small wine in it, then I placed the gigantic wine on my laps.
As we moved, the early morning cold air, blew with the same speed we moved.
"Thank God say I wear my cardigan ooo, if not cold for show me pepper", I said in my mind.
I looked around as the bike fired with speed, enjoying everything I saw for the first time.
He got to a road, then he stoped. Inside me, i knew we had gotten to "ADO".
He then turned to me and asked me, "What is the name of that place again?".
I then said, "Innovation school".
He wasn't sure of the road to take, so he asked another biker, who then directed us the right way.
After minutes of dancing up and down the area, trying to get the right place where my uncle actually stayed, we got there and i was welcome into my uncle's house properly well.
I went inside and had my bath. After bathing, I then gave him what my dad told me to give him. He smiled much and laughed when he saw the large wine...................... To be continue.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 7

Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story..

I didn't have much time to stay and chat because I was to travel to Zaria, that very morning --I was stressed out that day--. My uncle's wife said to my uncle that, there would be heavy traffic that very morning because that day was a Monday.
She also told my uncle that, it might be hard seeing a straight bus to Zaria because time was fast spent.
My uncle said to me that, if I'm lucky I would see a straight bus, but if not, I would have to goto Kaduna then from their I would see a car going to Zaria, which would be very stressful for me.
My uncle quickly went to take his bath. When he was done, he dressed up and we were about to move out when my uncle's wife called us to pray.
After we prayed, I and my uncle left. He had a car, but it was faulty, so we had to take bike which would carry us to the main road --my uncle's house is located inside, which was not a walk-able distance and his house was hidden inside--.
At first, when we came out side his house, we didn't see any biker. We then walked towards the entrance of the street and luck found us. Two bikers had just dropped some school kids, in a school close to my uncle's house.
I climbed a bike with my load, while my uncle climbed the other bike. The biker who drove me was a faster rider, so I got to the main road before my uncle did.
When my uncle got to where I was, I paid then we crossed to the other side of the road. After we crossed, we saw a bus heading to mararaba.
We entered the bus immediately it stopped. After minutes of smooth driving, we stop at a bus stop, which was where I was going to find a bus going to Zaria --I can't remember the name of the park again or bus stop--.
The park was small and was close to a bridge, I saw only one bus there. My uncle went to ask them, whether the bus was going to Zaria direct.
He came back smiling at me, he told me that the bus would be going straight to zaria, so I had no need to worry.
After I paid and my bag arranged gently (because of the wine in it) at the boot of bus, and after spending about 30 mins in the park waiting for the bus to get full, the bus was ready to move.
I stood up from where I sat, with my uncle and went to take my seat in the bus. I told my uncle bye, as the bus entered the road to begin the journey (of 3-4hours).
As the bus moved, I joyed the cool weather, but then I saw the traffic my aunty talked about, which was really bad, more than my expectation.
--To my Lagos fans out there, Abuja traffic is worst oo, you can stay in 1km for three hours--.
The traffic was really bad, but when we finally scaled through, it became a smooth ride all-through.
As we moved further going to Zaria, i saw beautiful sites and rocks of different kinds, my heart was filled with joy as I saw them --I'm a lover of nature--, but all my joy came down to nothing, when fear engulfed my living existence.
My reasons for fear was not only because I was surrounded with people I didn't know, but I was also afraid of the examination I was going to write.
I was crying inside me, thinking of how I would fit in with others. I looked up to the clouds with fear in my heart.
My mind started encouraging me, telling me about "ANGELS" --which was the story I was writing at that time-- and God. I finally got back confidence and stood back on courage.
We got to a place, where the driver stopped, for people in the bus to buy what they wanted to buy. The place he stopped was a place where mangoes were sold.
After the mangoes --mangoes are very cheap their-- were bought by high numbers of occupants in the bus, the driver drove off and the journey continued.
After 30mins, the driver stopped at another place, this time he opened the bus door, for anyone who wanted to urine and poo.
I quickly came down to stretch my legs because where I sat was not really so free, so my legs were hurting me badly.
Immediately I came down, others who wanted to urinate and poo came down, they all went to the short bushes, which were right beside where the bus parked. It was as if the bus was reduced to half because all the people that came down from the bus, were busy poohing in the bush.
After they were done, they pulled up their trousers. Three of them washed only their hands with pure water, while others came inside the bus without washing at all --Aboki na Aboki oo--.
As the journey continued, some started eating their mangoes. The man sitting beside me brought out his mango --he was amongst the people who didn't wash at all--.
He smiled and offered me a mango with his hand, I returned back the smile and thanked him
--Like seriously am I mad?___ If na you?___ You go chop sheet hand?___ Oga gbagbe, i no dey eat sheet ooo--......... To be continue.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 8
Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story..

When I finally got to Zaria, I came down from the bus and trekked down the bridge, then walked to a refilling station which was not too far from the bridge.
I didn't know anyone or anywhere around there, so I had to ask people for me to find my way around. I saw two men talking, so I walked up to them, to ask them where the school was located.
When I met them, i asked them where I could find the school and with no lagging, they told me where it was and how to get there --The school is very popular over there. There's no living human being, who doesn't know the school over there---.
I did as I was instructed and in no time, I found myself walking to the gate of the large school, with my luggage and a bottle of plastic coke --Big boy things wink--.
When I got inside the school, the officers at the big gate, stopped me and asked me where I was going. I told them that, I came to write the examination that would be commencing the next day.
I then called my uncle, who told me to call him immediately I got to the school, because he wanted to call his friend, who would house and feed me throughout the examination.
The officers directed me to a building, after I had called my uncle and he told me the name of the man, and what department he worked.
I walked, carrying my luggage along like a Lagos boy. When I got into the building, I found another officer, on the reception desk.
I told him what I came for and who I came to see, so he told me to sit and wait for him. He told me that, the person i was looking for, was in a meeting.
After minutes of waiting, I called my uncle to give me the man's number. I then called him and he picked it.
He told me that he was at the entrance of the school, and I should come right away.
I quickly stood up with my luggage and plastic coke, then walked fast to the gate. When I got there, he was waiting for me and talking to his brother, with his hands on his red beautiful car.
After little talks here and there, i entered his car and drove to a school close by, to pick his kids. When we got to his kid's school, he parked and told me to wait for him.
The sun was high hot in the sky, shining bast*rdly-heavily with no mercy.
I was inside the car and the sun was burning me badly, there was no shed for me to hide under, I felt like dying at that point --I swear North sun worst pass Lagos own oooo--.
Finally he came, with his kids and happiness filled my whole being. Within minutes, we got to his house and then I was taken to the boys quarter to rest.
When i got to the boys quarter, I pull all I had on me off and went to take my bath. After bathing, I opened up my books to read more because of the exams I was going to write the next day.
As I was reading time moved and the sun dropped down. Nepa took the light and within seconds it was brought back --I swear Lagos na place of darkness___, their is always light in Zaria 24/7 non stop, unlike Lagos--.
As I read my books, the maid --I think--, came to call me to come eat in the dining. After she left, I closed my books and went to the dining to eat my food, which was already waiting for me.
After eating, I went back to the boys quarter, to continue reading and reading.
I couldn't continue writing the story "ANGELS", at that time because my soul and mind were too focused on passing the examination. I didn't even switch on my data throughout.
The three other guys that stayed there with me, hardly came around, so I was all alone, which was what I really needed --I like staying alone, far away from the real world--.
My phone started ringing and the caller was my elder sis (Chioma), I picked it and we talked about everything. I told her about my doubts and the depression I felt.
She spoke life back into me and told me not to fear, that I would do great.
After I dropped the call, I was back to normal, all my depression left and strength from above came and filled my heart --I really love my elder sis (Chioma), she is the best and has always supported me. There is no other sister, in this world like her--.
The next day by 7am, I packed all I needed to write the exams and was ready for the exams which was to start by 9am. I went to tell the man who housed me, that I was going to the school to write the exams.
He then asked me whether I knew my way, I told him yes. He wished me good luck and i thanked him.
I left his house and boarded a bus going towards the school's direction. Luckily for me, someone in the bus was going the same way i was --That place na small small buses oo, all this over hustling no dey there. Over there, everything na jeje o--.
When the person got to his stop, he spoke Hausa language and the driver stopped. After the person came down, I jumped down too, seeing the school right beside.
I walked into the school and was stopped by the officers that where there, on what I was there for.
I told them that, I came to write the exams which was going to take place that very day.
They directed me to another building, which was on the right hand side. I walked towards the building and on my way close to it, I met a crazy guy (Ola).
I met another guy (Abubarka), when I and ola went to an office where we were directed, to drop our credentials. From there, we all became friends.
We were then told, to hold on to it and we should go to where the exams would take place. We went there and saw others, also waiting to take the exams.
When the exams started, we were told not to take our phones in, so I had to look for a trusted face to keep my phone with.
After I gave my phone to a guy, I discovered that my pencil was broken, so I had to sharpen it.
While I was sharpening my pencil out side the hall, others where already sitted waiting for the exam to start.
After I was done, I walked into the hall and all eyes where on me.
--Asin ehn, the way I take dress na die, in fact people think say I be bloody rich kid, but dem no know ___ [laughs] dem daddy wink____lagos boy movement smiley--........ To be continue JARE.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) EPISODE 9
Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story..

After the examination, I and my new found friends, went around the school, talking about the exam we just did and looking around the school with its high glory structures.
Ola had been it the school for about two days and he knew little about the things that went on in the school --Ola na big Lagos boy like me, wink--, Abubarka was from around there and he knew places around.
Ola had a room there which he got by luck, when he came from Lagos to Zaria. I and Abubarka followed Ola to his room, to chat up a little.
After our long fun get-to-know each other talk, i left by 2pm back to the house where I stayed. When I got there, I greeted everyone and went to the boys quarter to pick up my books to read.
An hour later, food was brought to me in the boys quarter by the maid --I swear, I was treated like a king over there, I enjoy die. I miss that place die--. After eating, I stood up and took the plates back to the kitchen, then came back and went back to my reading.
Evening came and i remembered that I had to wash some of my clothes, which were really dirty and smelly.
The whine I had in my bag was no more there, I had given it to the man that housed me as a token of appreciation. I stood up from where I sat and went to my bag, then opened the top zip, where I keep the dirty clothes.
After washing by 6pm, I went back to my room to read --I read like a f**king machine, non stop--. As I was reading, the maid brought food for me again --My people, no be say na joke, but ehn I'm in love with Hausa girls and the way they respect men--.
I thanked her, then mounted the sweet Hausa food --I mean the food oo, not the maid oo. Some of you can think non sense ehn--, which was looking seductive.
After I ate, she came back to pack the plates --mehn Hausa girls can respect o, no be say na joke, I love them jare--.
The next day, I woke up early again and went to the school to write another phase of the examination --The exam was a three days examination and each day, we did a subject or two--.
When I got to the school, I went to meet Ola in his room, Abubarka came minutes after my arrival. We did a little revision, and shared ideas on what and what we might see in the exams (we did two exams that day).
Once the time was 9am, we left his (Ola's) room to the hall, where the exams would take place. The exams wasn't so hard and complicated, but little time was given to us, to pen down all we had in our head.
After the exams, three of us walked around the school to explore more of the school. We went around the school loving and enjoying the views, of trees and large field with grasses.
When we were done with exploring, we went back to Ola's room to chillax and talk about things.
By 3pm, I told them good bye and trekked back to the house because I felt like walking a long distant --Sometimes I just enjoy long walks or trekking, even though I have money in my pocket--.
After trekking for about 30mins, I got to the house and walked straight to the boys quarter. When I was well relaxed, I went outside to pack my clothes which had already dried yesterday --For north ehn, clothes dey dry fast like no tomorrow and the weather condition is on the crazy side, unlike Lagos--.
The next day came for the last exam, so was my enjoy for it. I did my normal morning activities and left for school.
I got to school feeling good and nervous because of the subject we were going to tackle.
I, Ola and Abubarka, sat in the same position unlike other times, when we sat part. The exam wasn't so difficult as I expected and the things three of us read together (few) came out.
In no time, we were gone with the exam. We walked out of the exam hall smiling like no tomorrow. We went to Ola's room to gist more --You know na, guys talk and you know that kin talk wink. If you like think another thing, that's your concern oo--.
After hours of talking and gossiping, Abubarka left because he had things to do.
While I and ola were still talking, two other guys came in (Ola knew them).
We talked and talked, from there one thing led to another, then we started making comedy videos --I was the camera man. Dindy baby!!--. The videos were really funny and cool, we took pictures also, after we were done doing comedy video.
Time had fly pass so fast, when I was having fun and it was now 4pm, so I had to go back to the house, to prepare to go back to Abuja the next day.
I left the school, after I said my good byes to them and collected their phone numbers. When I got to the house, I didn't waste anytime packing my bag well for my travel the next day.
When the next day (which was a Friday) came alive, I packaged myself and went to tell the man who housed me, that I was about to go back to Abuja. When I met him, he was still dressing up, so he said I should wait for him.
When he was done, he drove me to the park, where I would find a car going to Abuja. He dropped me at the park, then told be goodbye and drove off because he had to drop his kids at school.
I entered the park and found a car going to Abuja in no time. I sat at the back seat looking around, then a man selling glasses and wristwatches was walking pass. I called him and bought a sunglass and wristwatch --Swagger things on point--.
Few minutes later, I started praying inside me for a girl to sit beside me, just as I did when I was coming from lagos to Abuja --God always answers my prayers wink--.
After I prayed, from no where, she came, the Angel of my life............ To be continue.

MY FIRST TRIP TO ABUJA AND ZARIA (STORY BY DINDY) LAST EPISODE 10
Please do not share without talking to me personally and asking for permission, thank you for reading this story..
She was very fair and her beauty was spotless, she looked older than me, but i never fully gave her beauty attention –i swear, i f--k up big time oo, don’t worry you will understand why i said so as we continue the story–.
At first, the place she sat wasn’t so good for her and her sister, so they came to sit at the back where i sat. She sat at the left hand side of her sister, while I sat on the right hand side of her sister and a lady sat beside me.
As the journey started, I took my phone and started writing the story “Angles” –I swear that girl is the best definition of an angel oo–. As I wrote, I ignored every other thing that went on around me.
30mins into the journey, she started taking pictures with her sister, who wasn’t as beautiful as she was. They took up to five picture, but I wasn’t counting because I was busy writing.
As the journey continued, her sister slept off with her head bent backwards, but she was awake busy with her phone.
Few minutes later, her sis laid her head forward and relaxed on the seat right in front of her. I became free a bit as her sis laid forward because I was maintaining a little space.
I was busy writing and focusing on my story writing, when I noticed she was looking at what I was writing. I quickly locked down my mind which was ringing to her side and continued writing.
She stretched her beautiful head forward to see what I was writing, but I just ignored. She then told the woman who sat beside me to adjust a bit –she spoke in Hausa –, the lady adjusted –I think she was trying to get my attention–.
After the woman adjusted, she looked towards my way, but I was just busy writing my story –chia!, I feel like killing myself right now–. She started feeling sleepy and in no time, sleep glued to her eyes.
As she was sleeping, her head fell toward my left shoulder slowly, as I saw her head falling slowly towards my shoulder, i started crying inside me.
“Oh God, let this girl’s head not touch my shoulder oo”, I said praying to God for her head not to land on my shoulder.
“Ah Dindy, you fear unnecessary”, said my mind.
“Wake up, wake up”, I said in my mind, as her head fell closer to my shoulder.
“C’mon, stop being childish”, said my mind.
“No, no, nooo!!”, I shouted in me as her head landed on my shoulder and my focus on writing died down.
When her head landed on my shoulder, I felt this cool loving feeling, that I have never felt in my life. I felt loved because no girl has ever placed her head on my shoulder –chia I need Cain ooo, I too dey f--k up, I really miss that feeling [sad]–
“[Laughs] Dindy, shut up, don’t you like it?”, asked my mind laughing at me.
“[Crying] No I don’t, God please let her just wake up”, I said crying within me.
“[Laughs] Dindy you are such a girl”, my mind said laughing at me.
“I swear I will wake her up o”, I said within me.
“Ah Dindy, leave her, can’t you see she’s sleeping”, said my mind.
“I don’t care, let her just remove her head from my shoulder”, I said within me.
“Ah, ok if you have the heart, wake her up na”, my mind said to me.
“[Crying] oo, please wake up”, I said crying inside me.
As I battled within myself, she wake up and looked at me. I ignored and continued writing my story.
“Chai!, thank God o, she has woken up”, I said as I relaxed my beating heart.
“[Laughs] Dindy o, you won’t kill me”, said my mind.
As I was singing songs of praises, that her head was off my shoulder, she fell asleep again and her head was falling once again to my shoulder. In seconds, her head relaxed on my shoulder.
“Jesus Christ!, what is this na?”, I said within myself.
“[Laughs] ah Dindy, I know you like it”, said my mind laughing at me.
“[Sad] oo, I don’t like this a bit, at all”, I said within me.
While I and my mind battled, she wake up and looked at me, then adjusted herself –If I knew, I wouldn’t have dull oo. [Angry] I’m such a f**l–.
She placed her head and hand on her sister’s back, then slept off again. I was happy that she laid on her sister’s back because I didn’t want her head on my shoulder again.
As I continued writing, her right hand started dropping down, towards my left hand which was on my laps.
“Ah, not again na”, I said within myself as her right hand dropped down getting close to mine.
“[Laughs] Dindy grow up”, said my mind laughing at me.
“God please let her hand just stop there”, I said within me as her right hand came closer than ever to mine.
“Dindy just relax”, said my mind.
“Noooo___”, I said crying within me as her hand touched mine.
“[Laughs] funny you”, said my mind laughing at me.
“Make it stop, make it stop for crying out loud”, I said to myself while her right hand was on mine.
As I fought myself with complains, the driver climbed over something that made the car go up and down forcefully.
Immediately the car went up and down, she and her sister wake up –I need to be flogged for missing such opportunity –.
After they wake up, they couldn’t sleep back again because sleep had gone off their eyes.
Few minutes later, they got to there stop and came down, then left.
–That was how, I Lagos boy behaved like mumu and miss my chance, I totally hate myself…..I’m sorry for disappointing all you Lagos boys….abeg make Una no kill me…. I really need a coach on how to woo girls oo sad……please if you’re the girl and you are reading this….me still dey find you ooo!! cry . —
After she left, I felt her soft head on my shoulder and my heart was beating happily with joy.
Within 15mins, we got to the last bus stop which wasn’t mararaba. I asked the driver on how to get to mararaba, then he told me wait for a bus which would soon come.
i couldn’t wait that long because the sun was too much, so I stopped a biker.
After 15mins of bike riding, we got to my uncle’s place. When I went in, I saw his wife going to the market.
She welcomed me, then told me that food was in the kitchen in case if I wanted to eat, then she left.
Time was very fast that day, making the sun run out of sight and the moon shine bright in the sky.
We were all (my uncle’s wife and kids) at house except my uncle. He finally came back and by that time we had already eaten. After he ate, we all prayed and went to sleep.
The next day, I was going back to Lagos, so I wake up early and so did my uncle. When I was done and ready, my uncle and his wife drove me to the main road, where I would see a bus that would take me to “THE YOUNG SHALL GROW” park.
On the way heading to the main road, my aunty mocked my uncle on how he drove, I laughed very low.
When we got to the main road, my uncle parked and we crossed to the other side, then I boarded a bike because it would be more easy and safe.
When I got to “THE YOUNG SHALL GROW” park, I went inside and bought my ticket quickly. I then waited for them to start loading the bus.
The sun started showing froth its light. By that time, the first bus had left and the second bus started loading, the third bus wasn’t yet ready –I didn’t get lucky this time, I was fixed in the third bus–.
After the second bus was done, the third bus was ready to move. By that time the sun was out fully.
I sat on my seat, which was at the window side, then a lady sat beside me –o boy e be like say I get juju for Dem ladies wink–. The man who saw her off, came close to the window side where I was, to talk to her.
He then spoke in Yoruba to her, that she has found a new boyfriend, which is me and I understood what he said, but I said nothing –them no know say I be Lagos boy noni…dem see fine boy….learners tongue–.
After 15mins, we left Abuja heading back to Lagos and leaving all my sweet lovely experience behind, including the girl that left a beautiful mark on my heart and mind.
The journey back to Lagos was extremely smooth and cool, we had no troubles or bus problems. I and the girl beside me talked a little because I gave her my cardigan when she was cold –Forget Dindy na sharp rat! wink–.
By 5pm, I arrived in Lagos and traffic was all over.
When finally I got to iyanaiba, I walked down, to where i would see a bus going to igando. In no time, I saw a bus going to igando and I entered.
As the bus moved, I thought heavily about all I experienced in my trip. As I got closer to my bus stop, a boy beside me called a girl with his phone.
The discussion that went on between him and the girl, made me remember the beautiful angel I missed at Zaria. I felt sad a bit, but shook off the feelings.
When I got to my stop, I came down, then crossed to the other side of the road, where I would see keke going to my side.
I entered a keke and as the keke moved closer to my area, I felt sad because I knew that my life would become boring once more.
Finally, I got to my area, then paid and came down the keke with my luggage.
As I walked closer and closer to my house, I missed the feeling which I felt behind in Abuja and Zaria. The joy and love I felt were all there and I’m here.
I know some day I would go back to school there, some day I would see my missing angel, but for now I have to live with the joy that i would pass the exams and the pain of missing a girl that made me feel what I have never felt in my life.
THE END.
LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE, NEVER MISS AN OPPORTUNITY.
