profolaolu: What's bad belle there? Only a fool always wants to be complimented but not criticised, op obviously wasn't thinking when he was making that list.. You can't be talking of 1 of the most richest women of Africa and the President's wife as nd then be talking about artist like Tiwa Savage and Funke who just 'entertain' people. Pls use ur brain b4 acting crazy 1 Like |

Codedrock: Influential keh! What doors have Linda Ikeji's name opened for the author of this article? This list is just pure entertainment! You mention influencial women without the likes of Remi Tinubu, Stella Okoli, Josephine Anenih, Turai Yar'Adua Esther-Ogbue, Omoigui-Okaru, Maryam Kachikwu, Maryam Abacha, Bola Shagaya, Stella Oduah, Turai Yar'Adua, Nkasiobi Okoh, Sola David-Borha, Ibukun Awosika, Daisy Danjuma, Kemi Adeosun et al. , just to name a few. It's ridiculous Lara Oshiomole's name is there but not Kemi Adeosun. Please, who's Lara? Infact, what's a Lara? Smh 1 Like 1 Share |

DarkRebel101: It may interest you to know that Linda Ikeji has never read any of Chimamanda's books, but Chimamanda in an interview said she reads Linda Ikeji's blog frequently. 1 Like |

neurosci: How do you know that Linda Ikeji has never read any of her books? And what does that prove other than confirm Linda's ailing reading culture? Young and old, rich and poor, if not all, at least a sizeable number of the Nigerian population have read one book or the other written by Adichie -- that a so-called blogger – who is supposed to be up to her nose in almost every sphere of human life – has not read any of the books written by one of the luminaries in African literature injects some doses of dubiety in her credibility. It's just like a footballer saying he has never watched Lionel Messi play on TV. If Linda truly said that then she ought to bow her head in shame. Don't ever compare that pseudo-, ten-a-penny journalist with Chimamanda. There's a universe of difference between the two women. Besides, this list is pure crockery -- nothing more, nothing less. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Codedrock:So because she has not done "something big this year" her influence ad great strides in Nigeria and the world at large should be swept under the carpet. Tell me one "big thing" Ezekwesili, Funke, and Alakija have done this year that distinguished and earned them a place in this list? |
