I've severally discussed this issue with my catholic friends n their answer is dat if u intercede for Mary, then Jesus ll intercede for u b4 God. Do u think dis is Biblical? If u ask me i think Mary is just another woman on the surface of the earth, she was just fortunate to be d mother of our Saviour, so praying through her, to her or for her is very wrong. I don't want to step on anyone's toe here, just air your view. That's all.

What says the HOLY BIBLE?
The bible never refered to mary as "holy mary" but a Virgin. She was just like any other virgin in Isreal. The Bible never recorded that she had any outstanding quality that granted her the right to be the mother of our Lord. It was an act of grace and as predicted that the Saviour must be of the seed of David.
How can we pray to Mary when she prayed like other xtians in the upper room.ACT 2. Niether the Apostles nor the early church as written in the Bible prayed to Mary. Neither did Christ himself give such instruction.

Like it or not praying through any means apart from through the name JESUS CHRIST is purely idolatory!

How can u take such, that Mary is d mother of God, though she gave birth to Jesus who is a part of the Trinity, but u've got to realise that dat was Christ in human form, infact, does it makes sense to hear dat somebody is d mother of God. If we try to analyse such words, it means the world has long been in existence b4 God n what did d bible say about such John 1:1.
