What do you call this. A story reported in the Nation Newspaper on September 12, 2012, as well as by on Sept. 4, 2012 is what Tribune Newspaper reported on July 6, 2016 as if it was a newly minted story.

Tribune: "Man Hits Pregnant Neighbour Lower Abdomen", http://tribuneonlineng.com/man-hits-pregnant-neighbour-lower-abdomen/ (July 6, 2016)

: "Tenant Attacks Pregnant Neighbour", http://naijagists.com/tenant-attacks-pregnant-neighbour/ (Sept. 4, 2012)

The Nation: "Man Beats Expectant Mother", http://thenationonlineng.net/man-beats-expectant-mother/ (Sept 12, 2012)

According to Tribune: "A man, Innocent Ukwenya, who reportedly beat up a heavily pregnant woman, Jennifer Omini was on Friday charged before an Apapa magistrate’s court." .....

This create the impression that the incident referred to occurred just few days after it was published by Tribune, meanwhile it occurred in September 2102.

Who do we blame? The Journalist whose name appear in the story (Ayomide Owonibi Odekanyin) or Tribune, whose platform was used to publish the story.
