Northern Nigeria has become the latest battleground in the proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia, after violent clashes between supporters of rival groups from the two main branches of Islam.

Members of the Izala movement, backed by mainly Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia, last month attacked the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), which is sympathetic to Shiite majority Iran.

This is extremely detrimental if we allow ourselves to get sucked into middle east wahala. Let them go bomb themselves over opinions of Islam. We already had one crazy whahabbi islam group called boko haram put one region on brink of starvation. We don't need another war especially if Boko Haram isn't defeated and the rebuilding effort hasn't even started.

These extremist ideologies come out Saudi Arabia crearing discord between peaceful people (somewhat).
