For years now enthusiasts have been making references on when the internet will happen. Some have emphasized it will happen tomorrow while others stressed it will be years coming. There was much prognostication that the internet will happen in the next few months then. This is just predictions. Social adaptations that will occur have to take time, and the infrastructure has to be put in place. But as the social changes reach the climax, the change will be quick and irreversible.
