Patriotic Democrats, a coalition of young Nigerians in the country have raised the alarm over the increase in hunger , poverty, crime, unemployment and suicide in the country.

The group raised the alarm in Lagos, Nigeria after the first ever e-summit held in the country, warning that if the President fails to do something before 20th of December of 2016, it could lead to the breakdown of law and order.

The group which carried out an intelligent analysis on the current situation of the country's young population interviewed 106,000 respondents across 36 states of Nigeria.

According to the research, 102,005 out of a total of 106,000 of the respondents claimed to have seen incidents of survival which includes the running into vehicles and motor bikes as a means of making money off the owners.

Another 70,497 claimed to have experienced petty stealing which is now the order of the day as stealing of soups while being cooked are being announced on radio stations.

Reports of inflated goods and services have also been experienced as common goods such as bread, rice (a staple food in the country), have all skyrocketed. Transportation in the major cities kf the country have also been inflated and have become unneccesarily high.

A total of 106,000 respondents claimed to have experienced a hike in fare on their way to the interview venue.

In the light of this research, the Patroitic Democrats hereby call on the Federal Government led by President Buhari to engage technical experts on the needed moves to elevate Nigeria out of the present state it is in.

If he cannot, the option of making Nigerians happy once again is readily available by quitting the stage.
