I live in Sokoto.

This is the News in the air from Family Sources.

He was the 18th Sultan of Sokoto before General Sani Abacha dethroned him to install Muhammadu Maccido, an Elder Brother to the present Sultan Sa'ad.

RIP.

If true his death must have been hastened by the 'travails' of his son.

His Son squandered Arms Funds. Made other innocent Officers and Men lost their lives in the battlefield due to inadequate arms.

I really hope it's d worries that killed the old geezer.

The elderly are often more concerned about their wards even on issues the youth may not take serious not to talk of a man facing a likely imprisonment or death.

Such worries can speedily kill any aged parent.
