Sanctimonious articles like this rile me up a bit. A woman decides what to do with her body. Why is it left to the woman to be virtuous when the men do not have such expectations is that not double standards?-Such archaic views do not shape the course of a marriage. Does virginity mean someone is morally sound? Does it mean she will only sleep with that man she is married? Does it also mean she is a woman who's somehow superior to the woman who was not a virgin when she got married? No to all of the above.
It's just probabilities that have become entrenched in a subculture that still looks to what used to be as way of measuring a woman's supposed purity.

The state of a female's hymen is nothing but choice. Someone chooses to remain a virgin good for her ,someone does otherwise kudos to her as well. Finally there is the assumption that sex on the wedding night will be spectacular only if he is not rubbish in bed! But then the woman will have no bench mark so I suppose it's better that way.
