Nothing in Nigeria works. I wanted to get a watch on Jumia 3 hours ago and the price it was pegged at for the Black Friday is even more expensive than the original price itself on a normal day.

Aliexpress is enough for me at this point.

y'all should quit complaining for a sec and understand where jumia is coming from, then identify the real enemy. the economy is BAD! although promoting black Friday on their part was deceitful. but I bet some on here would still complain if they decided on no black Friday sales this year

On Aliexpress, if yes, then sure, I do. It's basically simple. For starters, I'd recommend you use the 'Free Shipping' box when buying anything. A timeline is given for all of your transactions and it would normally be dropped at the closest Post Office to you.

The beautiful part is that you could get your money back and keep the product if what you ordered is different from what was sent.

You pay online using your credit card or debit card. I'd advise using a GTB card though as their exchange rate seems fair (320/$).

Just download the app, register (use a mail address you use very often) and then browse through the site. In case of goods you're not satisfied with, using the 'customer feedback' just below the products would mean your money would either be partly refunded or fully refunded while you keep the goods. (Trust me, it's real).

However, to save you the stress of having hiccups when shopping once in a while, it would be recommended you read through other customers' feedback on desired products before making your order.
