December is one of the most exciting months of the year, it is always filled with excitement and anticipation. One of the reasons for this (asides from Christmas and the joy of a new year), is that as December kicks in a series of activities. As we go about enjoying what this month has to offer, let’s not forget to have the well-being of our doggie companions at heart.

There are a couple of ways to do this; you could take your dog for more walks, exercise him more, go for a stroll on the beach or it could be as simple as taking him for a car ride. One unique and ultimate form of pampering though, would be to take him to the most elegant, exquisite and stylish dog event this season; The First Nigerian Dog Fashion Show

The First Nigerian Dog Fashion Show will take place on the 18th of December at 2 p.m, RIVERPLATE PARK, Ahmadu Bello way, Wuse II, Abuja F.C.T and is being put together by Chuns Kennels with the hope of creating more awareness and excitement about dogs in Nigeria. This event, themed ‘Renaissance’ aims to reconnect Nigeria [the African continent] to its past and history – A reminder of our new heritage, a mixture of our European experience and the African culture.

The show is open to all well-behaved dogs. A series of activities have been lined up; a Runway Session, couture exhibition, and a contest between dog models.
