Permit me to say that I am highly disappointed in Gov. Peter Odili. Imagine the goat (Peter Odili) after embarking on series of visits to about 34 states in Nigeria to actualise his presidential aspiration, he then left the race at the last minute. What nonsense. I am upset with him for two reasons;
1. For wasting our (the populace) money on his visit to the states.
2. For allowing OBJ to push him out easily and impose the unpopular Yar' adua.
I personally believe that if he had contested in the primaries, he would have won it. What do you say to this?

Obj cant trust Peter Odili. He wants somebody he can engineer,pilot and rubbish from ota farm if he will leave the office. Ya'adau is another Obj on seat. Obj will like to give him his greatest support and protection that will make him believe that it is only Obj can save which he cannot do to Peter Odili. Again religious difference will be another factor that will make many hate Obj if he give it to Peter Odili meaning that his has signed his arrest certificate. So don't blame Peter Odili he dogded bullet Obj planned on him. If he had not done that may state of Emergency in Rivers now.

In 1979, people praise him that he willingly surrendered power to civilian then nobody is thinking about bad bad things he committed. At least if he gives power to north and a muslim and have northern support, for him I think is ok.

You have just called him a goat. Do you think a goat can rule Nigeria ?. Bros O! Odili is not fit at all to rule Nigeria.

Well Odili had no choice, he failed the original screening which produced only Yaradua, Mauzu, Markafi, Duke and Egwu.
Most PDP aspirants only pleaded that the situation be reversed so that they will step down on their own as a face saving strategy.
As for Duke he was told power had been zoned to the North and the convention was a mere coronation ceremony. Only a chronic and senseless optimist will take part in such race.
