three dams actually (kainji dam, jebba dam, shiroro dam)....and a fourth one being considered (zungeru dam); in fact all the hydroelectric power dams in Nigeria....yet the entire state under AEDC gets a meagre 3hours of electricity daily!

It beats my imagination how we got to this point. Until I left minna in 2009, there was always a constant electricity supply. You can go one full week without NEPA withholding the light. If they take it, within 2 Minutes, the light will be restored again. I just can't believe this is happening in Minna. Na waooooo

Niger state residents are protesting because of lack of light which they feel they're the owner.
And Niger Delta protest for environmental degradation by oil companies mining our petroleum fools here will be talking rubbish.
