The problem with many believers is that we want to clean up our messes, sins and failures before we go before God in prayer for something....
The truth is:you don't clean up before getting into the bathroom, do you?
If you could clean up yourself before God, then Jesus came in vain.
Too many of us are not conscious of our position and identity in Christ....
When you stand before the Almighty,He doesn't see you.....All He sees is Christ....
Truth be told:God will not, because of your sins, fail to bless you...It's too late for Him to decide on that...He's already done it....If you think God will bless you cos of your "righteousness",you're believing a lie.
God's blessings don't come because you did not sin,but because of what Jesus did....
So what?
Stop looking at your sins and failures, just go before your Dad,and receive your forgiveness (don't ask for it,take it),and walk with Him,living everyday of your life as a King's Kid,in spite of sins and the devil...
Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
