You're very ignorant. Jesus disciples were Jews and they plucked grains on the Sabbath. Nicodemus was a ruler of the synagogue and he went at night to meet Jesus, something the Jewish rulers would frown at.

Whatever option you chose is wrong because of the contradictions by the writers of the gospels. If you go further and read gospels that were weeded out of the Bible by the council of Nicaea you become more confused.

The simple fact was that the powerful and supported learned men at the council of Nicaea imposed their will and rode roughshod over the weaker and less powerful learned men. The powerful decided which books made the cut off mark and which books deserved to be included in the Bible. Hence the numerous contradictions.

You can try now. We had to discard 454 mails while resolving an important issue.

after going 8 - 0 down i realised there is no way you can win that thing. they used the obvious contradictions in the bible and that always rendered one answer incorrect.

The question was how many men were in jesus' tomb?

In his first trial, he chose 2 and was wrong because mark 16:5 states that there was one man dressed in white in the tomb

He tried the same question again, and chose 1 but was still wrong because luke 24:4 states that there were two men dressed in shining garments in the tomb

Admitedly, the website is for mockery ....but you cant blame them, can you?

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: (Luke 24:4)

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted (Mark 16:5)

If you call this a contradiction, then you need to sue whoever taught you english language, or perhaps you were just an unserious student

For two statements to be a contradiction, then they must be mutually exclusive, that is they cannot both be true at the same time. The statements in Luke 24:4 and Mark 16:5 are not in any way mutually exclusive and therefore cannot be said to be a contradiction. Infact i think it is obvious that the timing of both verses are different, they aren't an account of what happened at a particular time.

This question alone shows how ignorant the person who set this quiz is and so i couldn't continue. Like seriously did any verse say specifically the total no of men in Jesus tomb? There could be 100 of them but the luke 24:4 account is simply saying two men stood by them..

For Luke 24:4 to be false, or for us to have a contradiction. Then we need another verse telling us in the same context that no man was standing by them at this time or that at this particular time, there was just a man standing by them.

In all, the conclusion that can be deduced from both verses is that there was one angel outside and two on the inside of the tomb, no contradiction of any sort.

I took the test and got 0. Lol. For a moment there, I almost doubted my bible knowledge I swear. Was about saying how could this be? I didn't even get to complete the test before realisation hit me. Nice thread. Really, the writers of the bible did a piss-poor job. They couldn't even afford an expert editor. The inconsistencies are downright ridiculous for a book supposedly inspired by God. I have already bookmarked the site for future use. I will point it to any bible enthusiast that brings bible talk to me, most especially JWs as they are more civil in discussions.
