It depends on his pocket. But seriously if he is not earning alot then he can always save for some months before popping the question. For me, as long as the ring is REAL, will LAST and most importantly I really LOVE IT, then am all good.

But for someone that worths multi-millions of $$, it will be hard to buy something of like 1000$
I just think the man needs to be careful when buying a ring, cos it is not about the ring, but about the heart.
When a buy overspend on a ring and get broke, na the woman go dump his a$$
