A 20-year-old woman accused of committing adultery in Somalia has been stoned to death by Islamists in front of a crowd of about 200 people. A judge working for the militant group al-Shabab said she had had an affair with an unmarried 29-year-old man. He said she gave birth to a still-born baby and was found guilty of adultery. Her boyfriend was given 100 lashes. It is thought to be the second time a woman has been stoned to death for adultery by al-Shabab. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8366197.stm What kind of backwardness and babarism is this? Why stone to death a woman in this present time and age for adultry? What upsets me most is that the animals that murdered her are in NO way better than her at all. . . Why wasn't the man that got her pregnant stoned to death also? And yet some people will still claim that this babaric religion called Islam is justice? What kind of babaric justice is this? Na wah for this Religion of piss. . . . . |

no actually it wasnt. maybe you should read? The man was unmarried, so he committed fornication not adultery. the punishment for thst is 100 lashes man or woman. she committed adultery, which means she was married then cheated on her husband with this dude. the punishment for that is stoning man or woman. However, sharia says that there has to be 4 witnesses that saw the act of penetration, which is technically impossible to happen. The only other thing that would make this acceptable was if the woman confessed. 1 Like |

muhsin: What is the "gaskiya" there?  Earlier this month, a man was stoned to death for adultery in the port town of Merka, south of Mogadishu.
