Op, if you have ever taken a picture in your life then you are guilty of Idol worshipping, if you have pictures of any thing in your house then you are guilty, if you have pictures of your family and love ones, u are guilty, if you have any pictures on your phone you are guilty as well because all these according to your shallow understanding are images /likeness of things on earth or under the earth. Geez are people really this dumb?  A literal interpretation would prohibit making statues of any type. This would require destruction of civic art and architecture on a massive scale worldwide, including monuments to the Ten Commandments (oh, the irony!). alBHAGDADI:because there was no camera nor photography then ,and the only means of recording any image then is tru carving. Merry Xmas. on a second thought Mr Op , what is the essence of Christ coming if we are bound by law of Moses? If you have no love if you like don't 'carve' any image ,will you see God? Neither the pope nor catholics bows to or worship images. the church preachs against bowing to images. So get your facts right. Now you are learning. Pidgin2:David Oyedepo is a Yahoo boy pastor. I don't believe in him and his cohorts. He recently made a statement where he said that Only those who pay their tithe are worthy of blessing. Look at what God's word says below. Mathew 5:45 King James Bible "That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." So, for Oyedepo to allow people to bow before him just for prayer shows he is not called by God. Even John was corrected by an angel when he bowed to the angel. The angel told him he was also a servant like him. Are you still in the old testament dispensation? |
