Good day folks, I hope this Christmas was fun? cheesy cheesy
Well, I no get money to buy chicken, so I settled for dew meats... grin (pls, dnt biliv me tongue).

Anyways, let's get down to business. The pictures I would be posting would be of an ongoing small scale Garri factory factory at Ijebu Igbo, with the capacity to produce between 50 and 100 bags of 50kg of Garri, every 5 days of frying process.

Sorry, I never introduce myself...

This is garriguy grin, your popular Nairaland, Garri man.

For standard (and substandard cheesy) factory set up, Garri processing handbook (or u can call it a novel cheesy) and everything related to Garri, kindly contact garriguy via...

GARRI QUOTE grin grin
Did you realise that if your production cost is so high, that you were only able to make just 1,000 of a bag of Garri, but you were able to produce and sell 100bags a week, you are making nothing less than 100,000 a week in pure profit? shocked shocked shocked grin

This Ijebu Igbo factory would use only 1,600 blocks. It would occupy almost a plot of land, would be demarcated to standard.

Total bags per month is between 200 and 240bags.

Construction cost: probably...1.2million to standard.

Less than a mills for just a shelter...

Sorry for the digression... But, person go chop na grin cheesy

Let's get back to business...

The Ijebu Igbo factory is economical in design and structure. It would make the use of timber columns, in lieu of the standard steel/galvanized columns.

and cheap ones too. The purpose of producing Garri in the modern way is to produce more bags (more profit) with less expenditure, produce good quality with focus on good hygiene.

Just be careful of the cassava you will be using. And also the fermentation process for the pulp is very important when about to press it.

Let me leave you with my popular Garri quote:

Did you knw that if your cost of production is so high, that you were only able to make a profit if just 1,000 on a bag of Garri, but you were able to sell 1,000 bags every month, then you are a making a pure profit of 1,000,000 per Month!

It's that cool, that easy. Just make it and sell it!

Have a nice day!
