I think the Quran needs to be edited again and the places where violence are preached against non belivers be expunged. I have good muslim friends who don't read the quran and they think diffrently.

Have you read the quoran? If you have then you will know that it is the quoran that inspires terrorism against non muslims. There are over 140 terror inspiring verses in the quoran so get your facts right before coming to betray your ignorance on this forum.
