There's a huge difference between an ally and a prospective ally. The US meddled in Ukrainian politics to install a pro western govt there. It's doesn't and nevr meant they were allied to Ukraine.

infact there's a list on Wikipedia of all Non NATO allies of the USA, and Ukraine isn't there. What happened in Ukraine was a failed attempt by the west to take over a former Soviet/ pro-Rusian country.

Most Nigerians don't read and unsurprisingly you're one of them. You just listen to beer parlour talk.

No, they haven't retaliated. If you call this retaliation, then be glad Trump is the incoming president. Had it been it was Clinton that won, it would have been much more severe. The Russians, like the Israelis, are waiting for Trump to assume office. In the hope that his policies will be more favorable to them. Although in the end, both countries would have lost. No nation can live in isolation.

Still I find it ironic that Trump and Putin are acting like two lovers who are on honeymoon, which is maybe a good thing. But trust me, the relationship won't last. The two of them have big egos. They won't last as friends. My only hope is that they don't draw us into another arms race and subsequently a war that is needless.

I agree with you on this, I think Trump's presidency might not make so much difference after all, because Obama's actions, as hasty as they seem is a well-planned set-up for Trump. This sanctions have already whipped-up an innate anti-Russia sentiments amongst his countrymen, and the moment Trump steps too far out of line with regards to US-Russia relations, those sentiments will result in very serious backlash from Americans, and even the US congress. Trump's hands are now tied in this regard and he can't grant too many concessions to Russia even if he wanted to.

It's the same scenario that is playing out with the Israelis as well. Obama's government orchestrated UNSC vote against Isreal's development of new settlements on disputed territories with keep Netanyahu in check, especially with Trump and his Ambassdor-designate threatening to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem. Which in itself is an act of provocation, that could end up creating more problems and ultimately derail the Isreali-Palestinian Peace Process.

Just hear yourself or do you think America is Nigeria? There was no rigging in the election. This is a calculated attempt to tie the loss of Hilary to the hacking saga. Even if there are fresh elections Trump will still win again and again. The recent electoral Victory by trump in some areas proves it. Americans are tired of the deceit of the Democrats. But Fight against corruption should based on evidence, Tinubu have been tried and found not guilty.

Orji Uzor Kalu still have cases with EFCC..

Oshiomole does not have any case against him with EFCC and same is Ameachi, and am not sure Atiku have case with EFCC except the haliburton..

Buhari started his fight against corruption from 2007 to 2015..

everything you talked about here is inappropriate at all levels.

first off, these are countries with nuclear weapons, no real leader should endanger the life of his citizens by playing catch me if you can with a country that is armed to the teeth.
