naxoproxen every 8 hours and take it before u get cramps,

if you have to wait for the medicine to work, go to the shower run the hottest water you can stand
and bend over backward to touch your toes, the hot water will hit u at the curve of your back, alleving your pain.
do that until you think the medicine has kicked in , though the great feeling of the pain gone will fool you once u step out the water.

And also, try some cardio when ure feeling better, it loosens you up, and really good workout can allow you to not depend on medicine at all!
