In response to this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3553078/aregbesola-clears-all-salary-arrears that made FP, Aregbesola likes to lie a lot, but Nairaland been a very popular forum shouldn't help him spread his lies.

Aregbesola has been paying senior civil servants half salary since July 2015, towards the end of last year he paid the usual half salary for September - December 2016 and paid the junior workers there usual full salary, that means he is still owing majority of the workers(including my parents) half salary for July 2015 - December 2016, that is 18 months i.e 9 months salary. So I don't know how he came about CLEARED ALL ARREARS.

All officers from GL 08 upwards are still being owed 8months and above depending on your GL.

All Pensioners whose monthly take home is >20k are still being owed 8months arrears and above depending on your pension.

So if your majority equals 99.99999% then you are a disgrace to whatever level of education you have.

When you type in a public forum, try to check your facts and figures first before submitting.

Like I said u lack comprehension. It is absolutely disrespectful to even infer that the poster's parents borrowed above their means and could therefore be a reason they didn't receive complete pay. It was also disrespectful to say the parents didn't see where to collect money when bare facts corroborated over and again on and outside this forum that salaries were slashed in half by the Osun State governor.

Just like @joyintwos said, Aregbe has been paying a fraction of salaries based on grade level, and the December circular released by the state government gave credence to this.
The rumour that he has cleared all salary arreas is another BS that would be swallowed by those who can't read between the lines. The Nigerian educated youth has become worse than an illiterate simply because education has taken away intuition. We really should look on such folks with empathy and not condemnation

Good morning Lalasticlala. This needs to be pushed to FP so that people can know Aregbe (Baba HALFuSAL) paid half salaries to senior servants as usual, no change. It was even a shame that while he was paying Half salaries, he couldn't at a point pay but had to pay (sep-dec) in december.

I'm from osun, the topic about Aregbe paying all salaries is wrong.


Who among of you here will be owed 18 month half salary and assume he's not owed because the other 18month half salaries have been paid up to date?

Well d governor is right to have said he has paid all outstanding arrears, I said it wen d NLC n JNC agreed with d government dat instead of downsizing, he should b paying with whatever comes in n dey agreed on 100% for grade 1-7 n d rest who receive higher salary will collect half, that d civil shouldn't expect d other half since d government already assumed it gave dem two options n dey chose wat dey think is best for dem. So I think d government has confirmed wat I said earlier, but am sure things is going to normalise this year as crude is already selling for $58 n we av an American president who seem to b on d same page with Russia.

As at today AREGBESOLA IS OWING SENIOR CIVIL SERVANTS 9 MONTHS SALARY and he is owing LAUTECH lecturers too (I don't know how many months exactly). And to the Nairalander insulting parents, I used my parents as example to let you know I'm not saying what I hear, I'm saying what I know, they(Osun workers) faced worse under Akande (reduction of salary, mass sack, non payment of salary for months) but the major difference is Akande never deny his actions, he's always proud of them, but Aregbesola lies a lot.
