A quick 1 about this project.
The building is standing on about 380sqm. (not precise actually). Owned by......that's a secret and it's to be sold after completion. Its actually a build and sell thing.

The ground floor consist of
Foyer
Living room
Dinning
Kitchen
Guest room
Attached BQ

First floor
3 bedrooms all ensuites
Family lounge

Note: the building is subject to change as the construction work is going on.

Enough of talks. Let's move to work.

It is one bedroom downstairs and three bedroom upstairs.

The foundation is an Inverted "TEE " beam. This is the same as the normal rectangular raft foundation but the cross-section is modified to an inverted T so that the flanges reduce the contact pressure on the ground. The base was first boarded and casted b4 the raft wall is casted

To make the work easier for me, i'll give the cost afternoon each milestone.

The formwork of the raft using steel panels. The piping was also done immediately after the base casting.

Why is the foundation (though it seems pretty strong) starting from the ground level? Won't the house be detached and moveable from the ground?

Good question sir. if you look closely, you'll realise that the foundation base is lower than the existing road level. the compound will still be sandfilled during the final stage of the work. what you'll have left will just be 450mm (1ft6in) up to the floor slab (german floor). I hope I've answered your question. thanks

Good day all. Guess ur day has being good. We proceed with the watering, compacting and blinding of the backfilled foundation before the reinforcement of the floor slab. Pictures coming shortly. Thanks
